Hi ed hope you are well. But have to whole heartedly disagree with your assessment of Gordon.If we had no prior knowledge of him and his name was Gordonio then we would be raving about him. Replacing Forster for nothing and pocketing best part o 10m.To blame him fir the Maribor game is harsh, you fail to mention Izzys stupid header back into danger area, even if he was ever so slightly at fault then so is the rest o the team, and if you go onto utube I sure you will find plenty of howlers from Neuer, Cech, Courtier etc.This parrying as you say is what most of the modern goalies do now esp in Europe.Goodness me the guy has hardly played any football for 2 years and has been nothing but outstanding.Scepovic, Wakaso, Tonev, Guidetti will all be given time why not Gordon.I really think you made your mind up about him before we signed him, let's judge him on performances and lately we could argue he has been our best player.

I 100% agree with you Rayman, I think Gordon has been brilliant and we couldn't have got a better keeper to replace Forster. let's just hope everyone continues this decent run and we can get the league back on track and push for the Europa League.

Rumania and Belfast you are spot on, he is the best player we have right now. I think his overall game us better than Fraser. Gordon actually comes off his line to catch or punch a ball, Fraser was too much on his line. As for the Maribor goal, the guy didn't make great contact so scuffed it more than hit it and that was what looped it over Gordon. He was unlucky. Yes a yard too far forward but on another day we would have got away with it. Regardless he is a class act so hope he stays injury free. He hit us the point in Austria and 3 points against Aberdeen.
