Once again the club has sh@t on the fans and managed to get a lot of loyal season ticket holders backs up. Their new offer to try and fill the stadium is that if you buy a ticket for Saturday's match against Ross County you will get a free ticket for an under-13.

Surprise surprise, this offer does not include season ticket holders who have paid their money up front for matches but the people who pick and choose their games will receive this preferential treatment.

Is it too much to ask that the club returns some of the loyalty fans have shown by buying season tickets?

I don't suppose it has ever occurred to Peter Lawwell that if there is a good quality team on the park that is capable of entertaining people they wouldn't need to try and punt tickets with desperate supermarket like offers.

Of course there will be no adults inside Celtic Park on Saturday who have one of the under-13 tickets, we all know Celtic fans would never do such things and starve the club of much needed income.

They probably assumed season ticket holders would have season tickets for their children too. I would buy one for my child, if I wanted to go to celtic games (if I was a fan) and I had a child.

Che whilst I understand you are not happy with all things Celtic at the moment (as am I), it seems every single post you have is negative. Apologies if I'm wrong here. Surely things are not that bad, you just need to look at Deadco or think back to the 90s, and I'm getting the feeling that anything the club do will disgruntle you. Whilst this offer is not perfect, the club has already given £100 off season tickets so I think they are doing things to try and fill the stadium. Spending millions guarantees nothing but it seems that is what it will take to keep you happy

Marty I never needed to mention Sevco in my so can I ask why you did?

I've never mentioned spending millions but I do know it doesn't guarantee anything BUT it does raise your chances of winning things. You forget the part that mentions we don't want to end up like Sevco by spending money, isn't that part of the same old tired repertoire?

Try thinking for yourself rather than spouting PLC apologist bulls*t, it's boring and repetitive.

NE Gooner, what? I have no idea what your post is meant to mean.

The only thing I would say is my Son is 7 and his season ticket was £50 which is less than £3 a game.

My main gripe is the price of the whole matchday experience, he like chips and juice and that's nearly a fiver. I can get away with taking in crisps but not anything in a plastic bottle. My bag is always searched (I must have one of those faces lol)

Now Celtic also sell soup, fish & chips, pizza, crisps, sweets etc. The crisps and sweets are those big packets that scream out at kids!

It's the whole pricing now that's the problem. I don't remember the last time I bought a matchday programme - Champions League maybe?

Che it's £26 for a one off game where we might win the league for a parent/child it might not be great for season ticket holders but remember the Partick New Year's Day game we were offered 2 free tickets. I'm sure it would be better that we win the league with 50k+ hopefully there than 40k. Here's hoping aberdeen don't slip up tomorrow and spoil the day for most of us although I'm sure those going to Partick on wed might not agree.

Mrs E my girls love their chips and juice also, what we do is buy roll and chips from a chippie on the gallowgate (NOT the vans or inside park far too dear) we also take in Capri Sun which comes in plastic containers. We bring in sweets and crisps also (figure this one out girls eat like mice at home but gluttons at football, teenage girls?)

Che, try being a little more diplomatic in your responses mate and accept that this is MY opinion and not PLC apologist bulls*it. Just because I believe this offer and the season ticket offer is not a bad idea doesn't mean I'm a PLC apologist. Perhaps if you read my reply where I said that I too am unhappy with certain things at the club instead of coming up with some quick reply with no thought. My opinion is you'll never be happy and are a GB apologist. I try supporting Celtic

8.) 24 Mar 2014
Oh and for you to ask why I mentioned Sevco made me lol. Looking back at your posts, you refer to them more than you do Celtic

9.) 24 Mar 2014
Mrs E I take it your lad has got a wee friend at school or at home, even a cousin that would have loved to go to the game on Saturday.

You are forking out a fortune every year as a season ticket holder but are continually overlooked with these type of offers.

Sure it will attract people for a one off game but that's it, looking after the dwindling number of existing season ticket holders should be a top priority rather than trying to make a quick buck with tacky promotions to attract glory hunters looking to see us win the league.

The club MUST do more to keep the core of it's fans happy, and the core of our fans is the season ticket holders

What's the difference between the people targeted by this offer and the Aberdeen or Dundee Utd fans who appear out the woodwork for a cup final?

I rarely post on the site but felt I had to voice my opinion on this post che what you need to remember is that the club is doing a lot of good things to try and get people to attend games with revamping parts of the stadium and introducing a new family section trying to improve match day experience with new ideas like the fish and chip bar and pie shop aswell as the soup stalls I think u forget the financial climate that this country is in at the moment and how people are really struggling just because someone buys tickets on a game by game basis does not make them a glory hunter and I would rather they bought tickets now and then than not attend games at all and attendances to be even lower than they are at the moment in a poor standard of league I am a season ticket holder and have been for 18 years and I hope I am never put in a position some people have obviously found themselves in and had to give up season tickets I'm not saying this is the case for all ticket buyers but I would rather the club done its all to fill the stadium on the day we potencially win the league than have sat there and done nothing and its half empty I feel the club are doing a great job trying to attract people in hard times and people are to quick to jump in and criticise than take a step back and look at the bigger picture of course someone's always going to feel left out but give the club credit for trying

11.) 25 Mar 2014
Che you have repeated that you are continually overlooked with these offers so did you not get an offer of 2 tickets as a season ticket holder for the Partick thistle match free of charge?

12.) 25 Mar 2014
Che, I appreciate your point.

My season ticket means I pay less than £20 a game and I get a European qualifier free, cheaper domestic Cup and Champions League tickets and I managed to get someone in my work a 3 game CL package. There's also other offers.

Do I begrudge someone paying £26/£28 and upward this Saturday a free child ticket - no.
