According to Paul it's all over Polish TV that we have signed winger Przemyslaw Frankowski from RC Lens on a 5-year deal. HH ?

With all the wingers brought in and what looks like Abada being 1st choice on the left, I'm thinking we will see Maeda playing as Striker this season.

The Polish 28 year old has decent stats.

He played an astonishing 74 league games in only 2 seasons in France.
In those 74 league games for Lens, he had an impressive 19 goals/ assists.

Frankowski has previously played in 8 European matches and has 5 goals/ assists to his name.

28 year old lots of caps for his national team. Transfermarkt has him valued at €9m and his position as a wide mid field, not a winger, but can play RB.

He's one Iknow nothing about so anyone else know about him?

Sounds a solid player nonetheless.

he’s been a top performer in ligue one for the last 2 years. He’s probably at the peak of his powers since he went there and probably keep those performances up into his early 30s. He’s very pacy, high energy and covers a ridiculous amount of grass. Doesn’t let opponents breathe on the ball either. He’s also very 2 footed and can play either wing back side, wide mid or on the wing.

He’ll be a great signing if it’s true. I can’t see anything about it anywhere and if he’d signed, I’m sure we’d have heard some sort of info about it by now. Hoping it’s just went under the radar and he gets unveiled on Saturday.

Also, johnbhoy71, has Abada ever played LW? I know he is right footed and Rodgers loves a right footed LW but can't remember him ever playing there under Ange. Has Rodgers tried it in pre season? Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention!

Does anyone know what position he's been playing, surely must be RB cover. A goal every 7 games and an assist every 9 games is not exactly setting the place on fire. Wait and see if it's true I suppose, maybe he is RB cover?

Limerickcelt, he can play right back so he’ll most likely get utilised there when AJ isn’t playing. His numbers are decent playing in a poor Lens team. The way they play compared to us is completely different. He’ll have more of the ball with us and realistically should provide more goals and assists playing for us seeing as we dominate the ball 99% of the time domestically. His experience and running ability on the right wing with AJ behind him could be a masterstroke for next year.

That’s obviously if the boy has actually signed. I know Ed doesn’t normally post unless he has concrete info but I can’t find anything about it other than on here.
