Apparently Cameron Carter Vickers signing on loan is imminent. Both clubs trying to push through deal before midnight.

1.) 31 Aug 2021 23:27:41
Just seen it on sly, it’s happening for sure. Some of the lads on here saying he’s a bit of a carthorse, but he looks like a big stopper type.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 23:31:56
Something not right, he’s been loaned to six clubs in 4 years.

3.) 31 Aug 2021 23:36:20
Am one of them Hope I just caught him on a bad night, he was playing a few weeks ago in the conference league against a team I'd never heard of and he was awful, looked slow and even stood on the ball, but apparently he did really well at Bournemouth last season, 🤞🤞.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 23:45:31
Cameron Carter Vickers is smaller than Starfelt and Welsh.
He’s known as a ball playing CB with accurate passing ability.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 23:57:55
He’s played in the hoops already for Catholic United FC.

6.) 01 Sep 2021 00:01:54
On Spurs website the deal has been done.

Good luck Patryk Klimala at New York Red Bulls. Although it didn't work out for him at club there was no questioning his professionalism and attitude.

1.) 22 Apr 2021 21:18:43
Good luck to Patryk, he's a top lad and I'm sure he'll do well. HH.

2.) 23 Apr 2021 08:16:47
Gd luck klamila you will be magic over there. Don't look back your missing nothing. HH.

3.) 23 Apr 2021 10:05:33
Good luck but was nowhere near good enough.

4.) 23 Apr 2021 18:17:10
I think that's a little unfair. It's obvious the boy likes to play on the last defenders shoulder. We are far to side to side and slow for that type of player to excel. Balls over the top, balls with pace from the wings. Counter attacks. What are they I here you ask. He could have been quite handy in a more attack minded fast moving team.

5.) 24 Apr 2021 00:05:57
He was up there with Bayo. Complete waste of a Jersey. No game intelligence scottish championship level at best. Good business getting rid.

Losing against Betis is one thing, but if score stays same today against Livingston its unacceptable.

They are woeful just now and nothing other than a win will be acceptable

The omen excuse of playing there does not wash with me when other clubs in league have went there and consistently got results.

Jorge Cadete cover song Albian Ajeti lol.

dnn38

1.) 11 Sep 2021 18:05:20
He puts the ball in the netty is fecking cringeworthy after all these years ??I suppose it was far better than Sevco terrible version. Hair like spaghetti, he's Portuguese and 1 of these (Hand gesture. Not the Red handed one or the 4 fingers blowing off one) That was a nice little trip back in time as soon as I seen Cadetes name. Cheers mate??.

2.) 12 Sep 2021 12:06:03
Hair like spaghetti lmao was that a player or their accounts? Lol.

11 Sep 2021 16:41:34
I know he hasn't been consistent since he signed, but I genuinely believe Ajeti is worth keeping at club.

Had a feeling he would score today in 4-3-3 formation with two good players either wing.

I don't think he will be a starting 11 player, but I do think he is decent back up.

dnn38

1.) 11 Sep 2021 16:58:25
Posted before he scored 2nd. Well played Ajeti. Stepped up when asked and got job done.

2.) 11 Sep 2021 17:01:17
He looks a hell of a lot fitter since Ange took over. He will be a big factor for the demanding schedule we have coming up. A fit Kyogo Ajeti and Giakoumakis will be some strike force.

3.) 11 Sep 2021 17:09:15
Two goals today for Ajeti hopefully he can come good. Some players looked like they haven;t played in a while so 90 mins football will help. Still look a little short on squad numbers wonder if the failure to sign McCann cost MacKay his job. You can hardly say that the players signed are top quality yet. Kyoko and Giakomakis are Ande signings and Scales a DD choice. The others have either excess to reqirements at there club or questionable selections. Abada was a young player who has come good and Juranovisc was not first choice. Also I hope he has negotiated a good sell on cluse in Edaourd deal.

4.) 11 Sep 2021 17:46:59
Pud I agree mate. Players are looking a lot sharper both mentally and physically.

Ajeti was impressive at Basel but flopped at West Ham. In fairness West Ham were rotten that season.

I know its only 1 game but I still think there is more to come from Ajeti.

5.) 11 Sep 2021 17:56:01
I know he bagged two goals but before that he was very static, the difference between him and kyogo for movement was night and day. He seemed really easy to mark but he was in the right place twice at the end though. Looking at the squad today, it was always a bit nervy as we had very little to change the game going forward. But 3 points and goals and we move on.

01 Sep 2021 00:09:26
Possible line up next game:

GK Hart

LB Scales
CB Welsh
CB Starfelt/ Vickers
RB Juranovic

CM McGregor
CM Mccarthy

CAM Turnbull

LW Jota
RW Ababa

ST Kyogo

Good subs bench as well. Massive improvement on squad this time last year.

Thought Barkas and Bolingoli would of at least be sent out on loan.

dnn38

1.) 01 Sep 2021 07:29:57
dnn38 why no Ralston hasn’t put a foot wrong since start of the season.

2.) 01 Sep 2021 07:35:17
I know barkas had an offer to go back to Greece on loan but turned it down.

3.) 01 Sep 2021 11:31:38
Oldkilly I made a mistake, I meant to post RB Ralston/ Juranovic.

Ralston has been outstanding this season, hope he gets new contract because he deserves extension.

4.) 01 Sep 2021 12:11:39
Rogic in for Turnbull for me. Rogic is the best CAM we have.

31 Aug 2021 23:59:39
Carter vickers signs on loan. I am very happy at signings we have made this summer and also managed to get shot of some deadwood as well.

The board have done well.

1.) 01 Sep 2021 00:15:33
Carter Vickers I'm glad is only in on loan so we can assess before we buy instead of panic buying and potentially wasting the cash. Didn't realise he's only 6ft, even Starfelt is slightly taller and doesn't look much of a presence on the pitch!

2.) 01 Sep 2021 02:17:49
I thought Carter Vickers was in the final twelve months of his Spurs contract? was I wrong if he was why are we paying for him?

3.) 01 Sep 2021 00:36:32
NMAnd if he's on par with Duffy were screwed, should have done better IMO guys.

4.) 01 Sep 2021 00:37:20
Turner1984 I agree mate. Just glad we have strengthened CB positions to avoid problems we had last season.

Scales I reckon once settled into team, will play a mixture of games at CB and LB. Think he is 6ft 4. Meant to be highly rated, was on trial at Man City last season.

5.) 01 Sep 2021 08:18:00
Jason Denayer was only 6ft and he wasn't to bad.

6.) 01 Sep 2021 09:41:31
Greentree I totally accept height isn't everything, Puyol was only 5,10 but what a CB he was, however I just think we need a tall presence in games like the old firm where their team tower us on set plays.

He will be away this window and I reckon if Ange starts him with kyogo, I honestly think he will play an absolute blinder in what is potentially his farewell game.

I'm going for 4-1 win for us tomorrow.

Timalloy I agree mate. I would not be surprised if once Postecoglou is in the door, there will be a flurry of transfers in and out.

Jonbhoy71 I agree mate and when they do get their chance, that delay stalls their development.

Personally I'm of the opinion young Dembele should of been given a run of games when Forrest was injured last season as he was the best natural RW we had.

Hjelde I can remember when he signed, but never knew anything about him untill hearing rave reviews when on loan at Ross County.

Is far too slow and the amount of soft goals that leaked from his poor positional awareness was the reason he was shipped out club.

Kenny Miller scored 2 identical goals against us, that sviatchenko was at fault.

Or could have it been a case of Kennedy and Strachan advising Ange to adopt a certain tactic and Ange deciding against?

We will never know but even if we had no injury problems and a full strength team, I still think we would of been lucky to get a draw. 4-3-3 is ineffective against a team that plays 4-5-1.

Also Turnbull and Rogic on pitch at same time does not work.

We should of won today against a team that had only picked up 1 point out of possible 15 points.

There's no excuses, if teams with a far smaller budget can take points off them then we should with ease.
