I've made my feeling clear on this new national team direction.
I have a fantastic wager attached to this line-up. My mates coupon with a minimal out lay has naismith scoring 3. His winnings equate to a treble of premium malt at a bar not far from me. His outlay matches the price of cheap cheap curry packet noodles. He wins my larder is depleted. I was looking forward to those noodles.

Don't know why you guys put yourselves through this? I can appreciate being patriotic and proud of your heritage and lineage etc and being Scottish is something to be proud of in most situations; but when it comes to football:- Celtic, it's players and supporters have always been a source of contempt to some and are seen as an inconvenience to the National establishment in all it's guises.

I find this post baffling as I’ve many rangers pals on Facebook and they are saying the same thing about rangers players and the treatment they are receiving from the Scotland fans? I didn’t watch the last two games as international football doesn’t really do it for me and hasn’t for years but a certain Ryan jack taking pelters and some saying the mighty greegsy retaking abuse? So is it just Hibs hearts and the sheep that go to Scotland games now?

Whilst I totally agree with lots of posters that this window has been awful in terms of players coming in (or lack of) , I honestly don't think that we'll miss wee Paddy, Armstrong and the Frenchman. None of them made them made much of a contribution last season. What's done is done. We need to get over it and unite now. Tomorrow we will show the mob from the piggery that the gap has not closed.

Agree Viking, terrible window but I thought we played the best I have seen us for quite a while with fast passing, quick pressing. This could be the game we need to be honest, they think we are there for the taking and while form goes out of the window I’m confident our players who have been through this before will stand up and be counted. My main concern is there Croatian left back Barisic looks good going forward, so Lustig is going to need protection and a good game. If we can push him back it will nullify quite a bit of their work, if not we could be exposed.

The three players gone all missed an aweful lot of games last season . M D in particular could also be moody and in fact he scored just 9
I doubt very much if the Rangers2012.fullbacks attack us very much, they will be holding on to their defence by the skin of their teeth.
I have every confidence in Lustig controlling his side of defence. Lustig is a very clever defender and will be well fit for whatever they throw at him, providing he gets a bit of cover that he deserves if they do come running at him
The old story will be certainly true tomorrow, we defend as a team, we atack as a team and we win as a team.

The one guy who bothered me about them Kev was Barisic. He looks far and away their best player and has plenty of pace which caused Lustig trouble on occasion. But on the whole we toasted them. The only downside for me was, apart from his role in the goal, Rogic was rank rotten.
