Sviatchenko is now 29 years old and typically for a CB has got better with experience and is captain of the Danish Champions.
He was always dangerous in the oppositions box and scored 1 in every 5 league games for his club last season.
Brendan let him go too soon and for buttons.
He always gave 100% which is something we’re missing from some of our current squad.

Even getting 20 odd million for Eddy won't cover the cost of the other.
Can't be bothered but would love to calculate transfer fees, cost of contract etc against future value.
Our buy cheap sell high policy does not work.
Our squads are constantly half full of no hopes, better smaller squad of more quality.

Players come in and you expect to improve them and move them on eventually.

How can we judge these guys when all players in our squad have regressed under Lennon and his coaches?

Not one member of the squad has improved under Lennon. Even Frimpong who looked like he could be a world beater when he just arrived has went back to looking like an under 15 player playing against men.

Young Dembele will be 18 years old in February.
He played for the U20s Development team when he was only 13 years old.
Dembele was regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe.
And he has also regressed big time under the current management/ coaching team.
The right wing is a position which has been up for grabs since Forrest got injured and yet Dembele has been lucky to make the squad.
There’s been reports of a poor attitude but it seems he’s learned that from the Celtic first team squad.

Who thinks the board will use the January transfer window properly?

In January they should be looking for players to improve them for the start of the next season to allow the players time to bed into the team so the team is ready for the new campaign. Whereas they always go down the same route of a overrated player on loan. They always wait til the last minute. It looks like a rush job with no planning in place.

The club should have already identified players for January and the next window. Why always wait til the window is about to close before getting them in?

I think they will. Some of our best players were signed in January and I also think they will be keen to move a few players on.

I still think we can turn this around provided we get a new manager in ASAP as realistically we need to not drop anymore points, win both games in hand and beat them 3 times including 2 visits to ibrox. Huge task that Lennon is not capable of achieving.

Phil buying quality in January even if available is one thing and getting them to gel as a team is another. The one think the Govan hoardes have had this season is consistently in team selection.

The board could have offered Gordon a better deal to stay as back up, but he turned down the deal as it wasn't good enough but hearts could give him a better deal?
He was a much better keeper than Bain is. Also forster wanted a permanent deal and if the board just moved for him he would have joined.
They didn't sell players due to C.V. and teams not willing to pay top dollar and need to make savings. Lyon are now willing to accept 30 million for dembele whereas last season they wanted nearly double that.

I think Gordon declined an offer of £4K a week to sign a new contract.
If he was on £16k a week in his old contract, he would be taking a 75% wage drop.
I don’t think he will be getting as much as £4K a week at Hearts,
He probably declined the Celtic offer on principle.
I would imagine Celtic will have a budget for first team goalkeepers.
Not many clubs can afford to keep 3 goalkeepers with International experience.
Last season Celtic did but reports mentioned we only had to pay £15k a week for Forster.
Celtic don’t use the goalkeeper as much now with pass backs and that would’ve suited Gordon.

Fifer, id say that was the case with the whole club, all prima donnas, right from the top down. What i can't understand is why does he keep playing players who don't want to be at celtic? I wouldn't even let them train with first team squad.

There is a way to do it. What Boyata did to try and force a move was shocking. However when he came to terms with the fact that he was staying he was a big player for us in his final season. Ajer Eddy Christie and Ntcham will all leave, either in jan or next summer. Whether they go to, in Ajer and Eddy's case, an ac milan/ arsenal or to a Burnley or Crystal Palace is entirely up to them. It's in their interest to raise their levels.

The board won't want to get rid off Lennon as it will cost them too much money. Also any new manager they will look at will currently be out of work. Again they will be going for the cheap option.

Who will want the job at the moment full time. If they don't secure the 10 don't fans will hold it against them.
