Lawell for all his faults is one of the shrewdest business men there is. There is no way we would pay 9million plus 40% it was either a 9 million upfront fee or 9million and psg have first option on him at a set price.

Well done Celtic, in reality class was always going to come through. First half great energy and with experience we will learn to put those chances away. Reflecting on this time last year what a difference!
Onward and upward, next 4 CL games we definitely have a chance if we can create and take those chances early we know we can win games in 1st half. And by the way we can only get better and will get better.
The future is rosy, with big green and white hoops.

Real Madrid started with 10 players tonight, who also started the CL final.
Their new signing from Monaco made up their starting 11.
I would expect Real Madrid to have already qualified, by the time Celtic visit Madrid in the final CL group fixture.
There’s a big chance, that Real Madrid will play a reserve side against Celtic.
The result tonight was a disappointment but there’s plenty to play for and I seen enough from Celtic tonight, to suggest that we have a chance of qualifying.

Hopefully Mooy starts clicking, not sure if he is purposely being asked to play a DM role when he comes on as sub. If so tonight then Calmac can get forward more with Turbull. Personally think Cal is better further up the pitch. A great team consider who we have on the bench and not in the team, great depth and looking forward to see a bit of new boy Sead.

Typical over reacting pish on here Scales, Taylor, Idah and Yang have been great for us. We play a Hearts team that surprise surprise couldn’t turn up against Sevco and then we also had Beaton and his cronies to contend with.
Agree disappointing result even though we only had 10 men, no Captain today either btw but for gods sake stop slating players that have proven their worth for us. I still believe with fair officiating in the Sevco games that we can win this league but we need to pull together and remember we are Celtic, we all are!

Maybe green tinted glasses but I have no fear regarding Aberdeen, actually think its a nice opener for us. It will be tough but better that than against one of the lower half teams. Aberdeen have scored goals and conceded none in their 3 or 4 games so far BUT none of them have anywhere near our quality. If I were a betting man I would say Celtic to win by 2 or more clear goals. HH and FR.
