Ed do you reckon we could get the Croatia Keeper? I see Fenerbace are in the conference league whereas we are in the champions league or will it be down to the money?
{Ed007's Note - Everybody jumped the gun and said Livakovic going to Fenerbahce was a done deal simply because personal terms had been agreed with his agent - which I have heard Celtic have also done - but the Turkish team might see Keylor Navas as a better option to help with their finances/FFP.
There was interest from Saudi Arabia in Livakovic but he's meant to not fancy a move out there.
I don't know whether we will sign him but as I've said all along until Livakovic signs for someone we are in the mix.}

I would rather we spent a few million on a player than a few million on a 1 year loan.
{Ed007's Note - I totally agree with you, Pud and I'd be against any loan for a player if it doesn't include and option to buy but there is definitely a chance of KT coming in on loan unless Arsenal can find a buyer for him.}

Not sure about him coming back if there is a potential injury worry, on loan or otherwise. He was great when he was here, and is still a great player but if he is carrying an injury, its money not well spent.
{Ed007's Note - Tierney himself has said that he didn't miss a single game with Arsenal last season through injury and he either played in or was on the bench for every game they played except for one EL match.}

I think KT would be great to have about the club again.
He’s got plenty of drive and determination, especially when it comes to Celtic.
{Ed007's Note - There's millions of people around the world got plenty of drive & determination when it comes to Celtic, including us and everyone else on here.
If he's that driven & determined about Celtic then push Arsenal that Celtic are the only team he will move to and take a drop in wages back to a Celtic level just below guys like CalMac that have shown loyalty to the Club over the years.
KT coming to Celtic on loan serves no purpose for Celtic as he will go back to Arsenal next summer after rebuilding his reputation and proving his fitness to be sold, what will Celtic have to show for it?
The only time Celtic should entertain a loan deal without an option to buy if it is an exceptional player we otherwise could never get like Craig Bellamy or Robbie Keane, KT isn't in that bracket.}

In that case we should take his word for it but still not keen on a loan. That money could buy us a decent player with potential to improve and ultimately make us a lot of money. It's a difficult one, because on his day he is one of the best left backs about.

Those Millions for fans are not good enough to play for Celtic but KT is good enough.
I would admit the majority of Celtic fans are against the idea and they agree with you Ed.
I would just love to see him back whilst he’s still in his prime.

100% should only be using the loan market as a try before you buy system.

The price they are talking about selling KT for £35m means we get 15% of £10m. If he were to come back, which I think is bollocks anyway, but say he did. Played brilliantly at home and in Europe and his value doubled, that would pay for the loan and some. When you look at how players far less talented than KT go for £70-80m or more, it might make financial sense to increase his value for our sell on cut.
Now I don’t think this is ever going to happen, but done properly it could work both for the team and the eventual sell in fee we get. But it ain’t going to happen. Just like no marquis signings are happening either imo. Who in the bracket is going to come to the SPFL? Nobody with talent and choices.

KT loved by almost every Celtic supporter when he use to play so well for us and telling us he was greatest Celtic supporter ever . Unfortunately for Kieran, he didn’t know when he was well off and didn’t appreciate all he had at Celtic, star at a big club, exceptionally well played and adoring fan base . Headed off in the night to London, one good season personally at Arsenal and then for whatever reason his face didn’t fit and he became an extra, oftener on bench than pitch . No longer adored by fans, maybe Celtic could show KT’s football career, from zero to magnificent heights at Celtic, heights to zero at Celtic in pictures on players access walls at Parkhead. Players needed to be reminded the peaks at Celtic surpass the troughs in the EPL.

Nothing and ultimately pointless signings.

Ange has got us playing brilliant attacking football but our defending needs sorted asap. Its as simple as that. Even when we went 2 up deep down we all knew our defence woes would be just around the corner. When we have a fully fit squad and get the defence sorted out we will have a right good team.

With this seasons winner getting 10 Champions league games the board have to bring in 4 or 5 players now! Not in the next transfer window. A few experienced players at CH GK LB A hard man in midfield and a target man upfront.

Just over 1 week to get in the power and quality needed was said. Now it's coach develop manage. there's no doubting we have brought it young hungry players but you need the power and quality in tandem. We will see what the Board delivers before scattergun attacks, berating players who have a bad pass or 2.

I have the same feeling when the board welcomed Lenny as new full manager after a trip to the showers . But this time I am not blaming the manager I am blaming the board 8 days left of the transfer market and we still need a couple of good players in players we should have had in 4 or 5 weeks ago. I am not bothered about how much money they cost or if free But it's clear we need them in now not wait until the last day of the window.

I know we have made seven or so signings and have been working hard on contract extensions behind the scenes, but I feel the problem is, supporters don't see most of the new faces as first team game changers or that we have added the quality necessary to push-on to the next level and prepare for a decent European campaign.
The areas we need improvement are common knowledge, but I don't know why there seems to be more hesitancy this time around, after the recruitment team had excelled during three previous windows?

It was exciting when Celtic gave new and improved contracts to a few of our 1st team players about 6 weeks ago.
We thought Celtic were raising the wages bar, to allow a better calibre and experienced players to be signed on wealthy wages.
So far it’s been the opposite.
Several of our signings, are on the below average wage structure for a Celtic player because they’re projects.
It’s been underwhelming so far.
I thought that Brendan agreed to come to Celtic because the club were going to try and reach new and higher levels.
Watching Celtic has been very disappointing this season and it’s been self inflicted.

We haven’t really watched Celtic this season to be in a position to make up our mind whether this season is disappointing or not . A league game home and away and a league cup game on a unplayable plastic surface hardly gives even the most eager eyed amongst us searching for clues how players have got through the summer and form of new players, in addition new tactics by new manager just hasn't give us a opportunity to evaluate ream properly.

??Just seen the goal. Now they have to play Thursday/ Sunday. The fixtures will need to be changed for celtic to play on Wednesday/ Mondays.
