What a day to finish a great season, I'm sure others have already said on this forum in the last few days but this is up there, only rivalled by 98, 01 and 08 for me. I already can't wait to see us next season when the manager gets a full pre season with the squad and also all the Japanese boys get a rest.

Been up since 6:30 with the nerves. Who starts up front will be interesting. As long as we improve our performance from the semi we will be fine. Nearly beer time.

Home advantage will be key.

2.) 01 May 2022 09:21:59
Scrappy win or a draw will do me just don't lose.

3.) 01 May 2022 09:46:46
I’m with Mally, just don’t lose but a win would be great.
I’ve bet Celtic to win, Celtic to get at least 2 goals and Celtic to get at least 8 corners @ 6/ 1. I tried to add Lundstrum to get booked but I couldn’t get a price.
I’ve also got Celtic to get at least 3 goals and Celtic to get at least 8 corners @10/ 1.
( you can add Celtic to win @ 12/ 1 )
I’ve got a feeling that Celtic will dominate but only win 2-0 but going on 4 or 5.

4.) 01 May 2022 10:14:09
Ladbrokes are not doing bookings in the bet building bet.
I’ve also put on Celtic to score in each half and Celtic to get at least 4 corners in each half @14/ 1.
Also Celtic to win each half and Celtic to get at least 4 corners each half @ 30/ 1.

A sore one yesterday, I thought we missed GG presence up top, another obvious one was when JJ went off Kent came into game more. That's last 3 games JJ has had him in his pocket. Won't dwell on the referee performance as we all know it was poor and can't use it as an excuse for a poor performance. That said CCV scores that sitter and we were through. We need to take a step back and look at where we are now from where we expected to be. We are in a fantastic position and that defeat doesn't change anything. Big game at weekend. HH.

Pains me to say but better team on the day won.1st half was there 2nd half was ours for 40mins after that they ran the site show. Even our goal was jammy.

2.) 18 Apr 2022 11:47:14
Nothing stuck up top without GG badly missed and kyogo looked rusty, Welsh and ralston poor when they came on, we also list the midfield for me although their midfield took turns each at kicking our players, also big tam needs to start games well if he doesn't he's a wasted jersey, and Bitton at 1 mil up would have been perfect to bring on.

3.) 18 Apr 2022 12:35:29
Even if he had played nobody would have completed a pass to him . the final ball and decision making yesterday was terrible . just shows what can happen if you don't take your chances.

4.) 18 Apr 2022 13:24:12
best team won, we will learn more from that game than we will ever do from games where we win easily like the st johnstone 7-0 game, no excuses but that ref.

Madhun is an absolute disgrace unbelievable.

Great result today against the most successful team in Scotland last season. ?.

Went to Dakota earlier, area around bus all fenced off, team straight onto bus and didn't stop for photos. C.V. protocols obviously still in place. Ange and Stephen McManus did stop for a photo with the wee man which he was delighted about. ?.

I was there as well, waited an hour and the players bombed past. Said to my daughter I was missing out on some beers .
Worth the trip up though to watch performances like we are seeing this season under Ange.
Just seem to be getting better all the time.
Some of the best football I’ve seen is play.

{Ed007's Note - Would you not be better outside the stadium after a game to meet the players?}

As much as I like Ralston, I think Sunday showed the difference between him and JJ.

I wouldn’t have given him his last deal, never liked him.

Can’t quite remember my first game but one of my best early memories was the first year back at parkhead after hampden season. We were getting beaten by Raith Rovers and scored 2 in the last 2 mins to win, Thom and PVH if memory serves me. We did similar to Dundee Utd that year in Scottish Cup too.

Absolutely, I totally understand why he stayed with Man City, I read something recently and Jorge Cadete mentioned he wished he’d stayed, what a player he was!

Mm84

{Ed007's Note - How many players that have left us in the last 20/25 years that have went on to bigger and better things, not just better off financially but actually bettered their career at the top end of the game? Do you think that Ajer is looking on with a wee bit of envy at us winning a Double and playing in the CL next year while he's sitting 12th in the Pub League?
I'll not count Larsson as he was older so VVD has and Tierney questionably has but definitely will imo, Wanyama played in a CL final, John Collins won Ligue 1 with Monaco...... Anyone else?}

Fair enough Ed, It was more him signing that long term deal with them when it was clear he was never going to actually play for them, I wonder if he regrets not staying with us.

Mm84

{Ed007's Note - It's hard for any player to turn down Man City never mind a young lad at Fulham - that deal has given him financial security for the rest of his life, would you have turned that down at 18?
Roberts speaks fondly of his time at Celtic but I don't think players have regrets until their career is over and they look back at what they could have done differently.}

Patrick Roberts had his chance to stay but chose to leave for what I can only assume were financial reasons. (His prerogative) He had taken Forrest’s place at end of 16/ 17 season and was unfortunate with the injury when he returned on loan the next season. He’s proof that the grass isn’t always greener.

Mm84

{Ed007's Note - I can't see it having been for financial reasons as Man City were paying Roberts' wages no matter where he played.}

I watched a CL semi final in Casadelfelds just outside Barcelona around 2015 which was played by Real Madrid and Juventus (if my memory serves) even that close to Barcelona it surprised me the support Madrid had. They strike me as everyone’s ‘other team’ in Spain, much the way Sevco are here.
