Every pundit and their granny trying to steer miller away from celtic, I fear they may get their way.
16 Jun 2025 12:52:38
Japanese cb being rumoured, story coming from Stephen McGowan, only 5.11 and his stats aren't great.
1.) 16 Jun 2025 14:29:45
Japanese players seem to struggle with the physical side of the game, a see Edd the boy you mentioned from serbia being linked again,17yr old do you like the look of him mate av nvr seen him.
{Ed007's Note - I've honestly never seen Veljko Milosavljevic play apart from YT etc mate, but people who know better than me say he is a great young player and only going to get better. He's a big unit for 17-years old at 6ft3 and pretty solid for someone so young.}
2.) 16 Jun 2025 15:26:02
Yeah he does, valued at £8m so ad imagine if we wer in the running he must be ready for 1st team hopefully.
{Ed007's Note - Milosavljevic turns 18 later this month and although it seems a lot of money it's like a Lennon Miller type signing, they're good enough domestically and they'll get game time but will need time to fulfil their potential.
It goes against me thinking CCV will leave this window but bringing in Milosavljevic as his back up for a year would be the ideal scenario. But if CCV does leave I can't see us signing the young Serb as we will need a higher standard to immediately replace CCV.
I don't even want to suggest we sign a CCV replacement AND Milosavljevic ??
3.) 16 Jun 2025 16:15:08
Reports saying board confident of keeping Ccv, if reports true about young Serb your 100% about keeping Ccv for that particular reason but apart from that am not to bothered if we do sell him as long as we bring experience in.
4.) 16 Jun 2025 17:08:34
I don’t think a Japanese cb will ever make it at Celtic playing SPL, football.
In Scotland attacking players can throw their weight around without SPL ref penalising . No other league is as lenient and certainly not Japanese .
Trusty couldn’t handle the robust approach.
5.) 17 Jun 2025 10:18:23
Gut feeling isn't great with this one. I feel like his name will be on those lists of CBs where we top up the combined fees and ask why we didn't sign somebody more proven. His numbers defensively don't look great. Aerial duels won are near 50/ 50 I read. Not surprising when he's the same height as my gran. Certainly doesn't look like an exciting full back either. Then somebody will say don't write the lad off before he's kicked a ball. Just as they did with all the others. Hopefully this isn't our only CB being brought in. He just seems like versatile cover to me.
11 Jun 2025 13:00:06
Josh doig now being mentioned.
1.) 11 Jun 2025 18:45:24
Penrice too.
2.) 12 Jun 2025 10:43:07
Were the Lennon Miller rumours false or are we waiting on players leaving to make room and raise funds?
Or is there a bit of the John McGinn feel about it?
3.) 12 Jun 2025 11:58:40
He'll end up at Sunderland, there just sold Bellingham for 34m so they'll blow everybody out the water.
4.) 12 Jun 2025 14:35:48
On the contrary when we sell a player for over the £25m we can't blow through a wet paper bag.
10 Jun 2025 08:23:21
Fulham boy passed his medical.
07 Jun 2025 12:23:14
6'5 Turkish midfielder is the latest rumour.
1.) 07 Jun 2025 21:52:05
Just had a oook at him on videos ( I know ) he looks slow.
2.) 07 Jun 2025 22:19:52
Watch it in 2x speed and he looks rapid.
3.) 08 Jun 2025 08:09:49
Touché.
4.) 08 Jun 2025 18:22:29
He's got decent feet for his size and looks to play a splitting pass. Bit of height and physicality. Seems like what we need.
5.) 08 Jun 2025 20:23:38
TBF, Nir Bitton wasn't exactly Usain Bolt ?
☘️ ☘️ ☘️.
{Ed007's Note - How whit you saying ya wee knob, you bolt... #classic ??
6.) 08 Jun 2025 21:09:44
Bitton was underrated!
7.) 08 Jun 2025 22:07:48
Watched videos as well and a thot the opposite a actually thot he is quite quick but mb am just old?♂️.
8.) 09 Jun 2025 11:58:54

See some fans have had to be relocated due to the dugouts being expanded, new eufa regs apparently.
16 Jun 2025 09:39:34
So up till now we've brought Kt in on a free supposedly osmand on a development fee the young lad from morton 50k and hopefully nygren 1.7m, last of the big spenders ??.
1.) 16 Jun 2025 09:51:16
Spending big doesn't guarantee quality.
2.) 16 Jun 2025 10:13:10
The difference on the park between a 2 mil and 10 mil player is minimal in a lot of cases, so if the right player is available I don't care about the price.
3.) 16 Jun 2025 10:48:13
It's the 16th of June.
4.) 16 Jun 2025 11:04:12
Dont worry Michael Nicholson got a new toaster after he got a shock from his old one like Tam from still game.
5.) 16 Jun 2025 11:44:33
Is the transfer window even open? All I see is that the club are proactive. It’s quality that matters and I’m sure by the end of the window we will be stronger as a squad and 1st 11.
6.) 16 Jun 2025 12:16:21
We all know that Celtic don’t normally spend more than we bring in from transfers.
7.) 16 Jun 2025 13:10:49
We all knew a club that spent more than they took in . That’s those of us who are of a certain age and good memory, can remember 13 yrs ago .
Great care needs to be given when buying a new player at any price p, . it’s easy to spot a player performing well in another team, but will he fit into our squad and improve us.
8.) 16 Jun 2025 13:40:30
More like the last 30 years Des.
Rangers and Sevco combined have ran at a loss of £264 Million since the 1994/ 95 season and that doesn’t include the 2010/ 11 and 2011/ 12 seasons because those accounts were not published.
So that is probably an average loss of between £9M and £10M every year for the last 30 years.
No wonder the SFA didn’t want to introduce a National FFP system in Scotland.
9.) 16 Jun 2025 16:32:23
With us receiving tens of millions in transfers some of that lot now reckon celtic are money laundering! ???Its due to us selling players for tens of millions then getting them back for a fraction of the transfer fee. Also with Dumbarton heading for Liquidation you ought to hear how they explain it?.
10.) 16 Jun 2025 16:51:11
Isn’t a wonderful SFA and SPL that we have . These honourable institutions both run by Masons allow a Glasgow club to run up enormous losses of £264 m since 1994/ 95 and in fact liquidate and die in 2012 . The SFA ignore multi pitch invasions including attacking Celtic players, in the season just past various objects thrown at and hit Celtic players during matches and not a word of condemnation. Yes Celtic and 2 other clubs are punished for pyros . They seem to have missed the Rangers pyros or is there a SFA rule that new clubs are given an amnesty for first 13-14 years . Will they disclose full details of amnesty .
Mr Cavanagh, an associate of SF 49 ers must be well pleased .
11.) 16 Jun 2025 17:33:28
We have KT, Osmand and if we get Nygren for a total of 2 million, surely Balkwisha for 5 million and either the Turkish midfielder or 17 year old defender for 6-7 million each, or both, that should be achievable.
Less than 20 million, which we could cover a good part of by getting rid of 5 or 6 squad players.
12.) 16 Jun 2025 17:58:11
I’m sometimes flabbergasted at fans impatience, I see tongue in cheek in what was said but still, any players who is an international literally went on hol few days ago . and is the window even open.
13.) 16 Jun 2025 21:00:56
It will be a very long window until ist Sept . Between the moaning of not signing the big take everything with him defensive midfielder and only having 3 left backs, sack the board will be most frequent cry.
15 Jun 2025 12:30:49
That clown maxwell cutting our allocation for league Cup because of pyros but no punishment for our keeper nearly being decapitated or engles getting cracked with a coin or the endless amount of times our coaching staff have been assaulted at that cesspit, nope all that's allowed, only in Scotland.
1.) 15 Jun 2025 14:29:01
Our club are toothless and far too passive in every situation like this and it will only get worse if we remain silent and a soft touch.
2.) 15 Jun 2025 15:04:43
The rules around pyro at football matches are pretty strict. The SPFL, who run the League Cup and league, enforce Rule H34 which says clubs must do all they reasonably can to stop unacceptable behaviour like pyro, identify anyone involved, and take proportionate action. If they don’t, clubs can face fines and ticket restrictions — like the recent 500-seat cut at Hampden with a suspended further cut if it happens again.
When it comes to the Scottish Cup, that’s the SFA’s territory. They can fine clubs, ban them from the competition, and even push for football banning orders against individuals caught with pyro.
So while the SPFL can’t dock points or ban clubs from cups outright, and the SFA can ban clubs from the Scottish Cup, both organisations have serious powers to punish clubs and fans for pyro use.
I’m not here to condemn the passion behind using pyro, I get why it’s part of the atmosphere but is it really worth risking costly sanctions that could see us lose home advantage or even get banned from cup matches? Could a few minutes of excitement end up costing us trophies in the long run?
What do you think, is it sensible to risk the future success of the club for that short burst of atmosphere?
3.) 15 Jun 2025 17:45:28
Doesn’t matter what we think about Pyro’s . Or how much we hate SFA / SPL.
It doesn’t matter how much we like those who bring the colour, the songs, the life and character to our game, we can’t support their anti SFA/ SPL. We must respect the rules.
4.) 16 Jun 2025 07:47:25
Just looking for fairness and balance, pryros getting more attention than aussalt.
5.) 16 Jun 2025 14:30:54
Mallythetally2 Tradition has it in West of Scotland fairness. and balance doesn’t enter into the thinking . Don’t call Maxwell a clown, because he is far from a clown . All he is doing is giving a pre- season gift to the Yank Cavanagh, a clear indication of how SFA and SPL will help his new very limited club.
15 Jun 2025 07:46:27
Hope we sign miller but fear we could be outbidded from England but a solid defensive midfielder wouldn't go a miss especially needed for hard away nights in cl.
1.) 15 Jun 2025 09:10:14
Mally daft paper talk of Sunderland willing to pay £10m
This is for a player out of contract next season and in January could sign pre contract.
2.) 15 Jun 2025 10:52:34
Bang on Tim but they've more money than sense down there.
3.) 15 Jun 2025 12:22:48
Mally, we need a "solid defensive midfielder" to beat a sh! t Aberdeen team at hampden or not to be embarrassed again by the 4.9ers once again, never mind tough away CL games.
12 Jun 2025 22:43:18
Hooe we get nygren looks a cracker.
1.) 13 Jun 2025 20:56:09
I don’t think Roger’s will extend, if he does it will be because he fancies 10, for that our boardroom need to back him continually (which they should if he makes cl) I also don’t see him promising anything like he did for these 3 years .

Anthony Joseph confirms it As well, goid business.
13 Jun 2025 11:42:04
He looks more like a number 10 very skilful but looks like we have competition.
13 Jun 2025 11:15:48
Looks a cracker contract only has 6 months left that's why he's cheap but looks a right player ??.
12 Jun 2025 11:58:40
He'll end up at Sunderland, there just sold Bellingham for 34m so they'll blow everybody out the water.
11 Jun 2025 08:52:45

13 Jun 2025 11:14:32
Europe is what he's after games like bayern stimulate him so hopefully we get a good run this year.
