Afternoon Ed / Bhoys,
I very rarely post any rumours but TWO good friends of mine told me that Spurs are more than happy for Celtic to have Wanyama but it's all about Wages. The other told me the interest in Taylor is concrete and if their is a player coming from LC it is not Benkovic it will be the RB James who they have not longed signed but happy for him to be tested at a higher level (Y)

hope This is true he is built like the terminator, and would destroy their midfield. Ats where we struggled against them last season. we need a Player like him to boss the middle of the park for us against the more physical teams.

Where we list against them last season was they had 3 in the centre to our 2 add to that Rogic was never in the game.
They had far more energy in the centre of the park.
If it were me I would play 3 in the centre of the pitch and dare I say it, it would be brown that would drop out. Although that probably won't happen it's what i would do.
My 3 in the middle would be Calmac, Ntcham and probably Bitton with what we have at our disposal just now.

I'm not so sure duff, I would be tempted to try something different next time at the crumbledome. I reckon if we play the same way as last 2 times the result will probably be the same. They will get in our faces, they will out fight us and overrun us in the middle of the park.

I pray that the wanyama one is true, we need someone like him to boss the midfield. Rumours of Meling possibly linked. If we signed those 2 I’d be content. But If Wanyama does come then it won’t be until we know our CL fate.

Bitton should be nowhere near the midfield, he is too slow, his best position is at centre back.

Mcginn has done nothing to be called a class act. He wouldn't even get in our starting 11 if everyone fit.
He's no where near as good as ntcham never mind almost the same value.
McGregor by far a better player.
Mcginn would be squad player at best.

Aberdeen can still play a hand in when we win the league. Regardless of our form or Sevcos dipping they could help with us winning the title against Sevco. I'd rather finish with 5 wins. Although the performances haven't been there I always think the 90 point mark is always a good tally to achieve.

When we win the league this season and the split is meaningless as usual. Would you send out the following against the pee pills bearing in mind the last Sevco game will be @ Parkhead
You could have Hazard in goals
Frimpong and O'Connor as full backs big Kris could partner the very young Norwegian CH we just signed
Middle could be Burt, Connell and Coffey and the front three could be Oko Flex, Dembele and Afolabi up front
Now naturally I could never see it happening but I for ONE would love to see it happen (Y) Let us see the future, Let the other lot see how far we REALLY are in front of them (Y)

Personally I would put out our strongest team and hopefully wipe the floor with them.
At the end of last season we lost a meaningless game to them and had to listen to them all summer long bragging about how they are now the dominant team in Scotland despite the fact that we won the treble and they won nothing.
If the league has already been won then I don't mind what line ups we put out in the other games but against Sevco I wouldn't allow them anything.

I said the interest in Taylor was concrete because a good pal of mine used to play for Killie and is still involved in Youths/ Corporate side of things. I expected the RB in it NEVER happened and another good friend indicated that Spurs seen Celtic as an ideal destination loan wise as the English window was closed.
