With our buying power I am becoming increasingly concerned with the amount of times we are struggling against poor domestic opposition.

Intentional or not those substitutions by Brendan today make quite a statement; Ralston, Turnbull, Johnston, Forest and Oh. Actually gave the Hibs team a boost and if you are being honest they defended well throughout.

I don't understand the signing of some players . we must have 5 or 6 the past 2 seasons (I could go back longer and increase the number of signings) in the £2-3m bracket who are not adding much to the team.

The thrust of my point is we need to do much better with signings as our success rate is poor. So much so we are picking players who have struggled for sometime now ahead of rest signings.

Brendan has said we have a bloated squad but to me anyway the back up is not that good.

Sorry if I sound negative, but bitterly disappointed with that performance today.

Totally agree regarding recent signings. To much emphasis on quantity when it should have been on quality. Some of the summer signings are no better than squad warmers and should be moved on as quickly as possible.

Surely at the start of this season we only needed to buy perhaps 3 quality players to upgrade the squad. I can't see why we needed another 8 players when we had just won a treble. 2 or 3 players at around 9 mil each would surely have improved our team for europe as opposed to 8 players some of whom will struggle to get a game for some time if ever. We never seem to strengthen when we are on top instead, we seem to allow the others a chance to get closer.

When has Celtic changed their buying strategy, I ask that because what we have been doing over recent years hasn’t really been terribly bad and hasn’t really failed 10 SPL titles out of 11 would be success in many supporters minds .

I know how much we laugh and sneer at some Rangers2012 fans who get their knickers in a twist at their results, but winning 1 out of 11 isn’t really success.
I might be wrong but those of us that go over the edge in a Public forum complaining about the “dross” etc is music to the ears of the poor Sevco fans and gives them a lift in spirits that they don’t deserve.
