Here we go again -Armenia tonight.

We "humped" the 92nd ranked team in the world 2-0 last time and the meedja were whooping it up like the boys in the Malamute Saloon. Unfortunately it was Ukraine and Ireland that were playing the rag-time tune as they firmly put us in our place.

To think that some of us wanted Clarke as the man with his hands on Celtic's rudder. In my opinion he has as talanted a Scotland squad before him as we have had in many a year yet we were embarrassed in our last game by a team of honest triers. I think as well as a lack footballing nouse, Clarke has just less charisma than re-fried placenta. Charisma is infectious but Clarke seems to be a man that has been weaned on corpse water from an early age. Contarst that persona to Sensei Angelos where players want to burst through their shirts for him.

I believe we got to the last Finals in spite of Clarke and not because of him. He is a defensively minded coach who seems to be an apologist for himself. I don't like people who are kiss ass but even more so when they are save ass. A more forward thinking manager is required as he has already cost us Qatar, if he costs us Germany too then it's the Yukon for Clarke.

I expect us to beat the giants placed 92nd tonight, I don't expect to be oiling my lederhosen but.

{Ed007's Note - I was speaking to Paul about Clarke the the other night, I think he is one of those guys that's a good coach but a terrible manager - a bit like John Kennedy imo - and Clarke is also a bit like Lennon in that they haven't progressed with their coaching and are stuck in the past the way they see the game.}

If I may add to your points Ed, Clarke's 'brand' of football isn't exactly pleasing on the eye.

We're not Brazil, granted, but if he was given the bhoys from Rio to manage for one game, he'd still set up defensively.

☘️ ? ☘️.

{Ed007's Note - That's true.}

Is there any managers that came from Scotland that are progressive nowadays? Seems our youth systems across the country follow suit.
