Happy Heinz Birthday to the "Maestro"
Paul McStay who turned 57 today.
In 2002 the Celtic supporters voted for their greatest ever team.
Paul McStay was one of only 4 Non Lisbon Lions players to make the starting 11.
Danny McGrain, Kenny Dalglish and Henrik Larsson we're the other players.

DRB totally agree.

Was watching some clips the other night and The Bear would have and often did run through a brick wall for the cause. Like so many players of a time gone by so humble and showed a massive love of the club and the fans.

The Maestro

The best midfielder in my lifetime and bled green and white. A joy to watch. A legend. That’s not a bad shout he made the best 11 with Dalglish, Henrik and McGrain outside of Lisbon Lions. Unfortunately he played with some donkeys. Like Henrik I can see him play still not many players you can say that about. Although I can still see Tommy Burns play in my minds eye. Happy Birthday Paul. Thanks for treasured memories. God Bless. ☘️.
