As my girls said "hopefully that's our mistakes out of the way"
But credit to both Hart and Starfelt for not letting mistakes pray on their minds in second half.
I believe AZ are a better team than PSV and it was always going to be tough over in Holland.
If UEFA had not scrapped the away goals rule it would have been more of a cushion when we scored first goal.
Our next game will tell us how our new bhoys can cope in an extreme hostile atmosphere, come through that test and the season will look even rosier.

The match was as difficult as I expected and the errors gave me flashbacks of previous Euro nightmares. However, this was some result over the two legs and the quick away goal made the difference.
Great credit to all the players, some for battling all night, others for recovering from bad mistakes that could have destroyed them and also the players who didn't have their best game, but gave their all. I have no doubt we will see changes to the squad in both directions in the next few days, but this was a game we would have lost before and it will instill even more confidence for the games ahead.

Mistakes are allowed getting a thrashing is another thing never happened Ange has got a shape already Strachan and Lennon had way better players couldn't get them going as quick. Looking forward to this season. Good honest man in charge who loves the game HH.
