I seen this morning that UEFA have fined Celtic €7000 for the home game against Jablonec, €5000 for the pitch invasion (1guy) and €2000 for letting off fireworks, seems we are always paying money to them for stupid incidents 🙄.

If Celtic passed on the £5000 and £2000 fine to the two wallopers that did it it wouldn’t happen again.

These type of fines happen every time a European game is played and will continue to happen. Some of the stuff uefa can fine you for is unreal.

Be interested to know if any continental team get fines for pyrotechnics? Rarely a European tie without them on display ie flares and smoke.

chas, I remember attending a Juve v Milan game at their old ground (stadio del alpi) about 20 years ago and the fans were allowed to set of all their pyros before the game.

The firebrigade came on and made sure everything was safe and everything went ahead as normal.

Great game BTW.

{Ed007's Note - Chas, Liverpool were fined €3250 for the setting off pyro during a CL Champions League against to Atletico Madrid last last season, Copenhagen were fined a couple of years back as well when they played Leicester, Zagreb were fined €4700 for pyro. Other clubs get fined for it - and other ridiculous rules breaches - all the time it's that common that they are rarely reported and you need to hunt on Google, even UEFA don't register them on their site.
Have a read at THIS to see how even the "big" clubs pick up silly fines regularly without a big song and dance being made out of it.}

Another two bags of sand incoming for the pyro at the AZ game as well lol. We'd be as well setting up a direct debit.

I hope that the idiot that ran on too the pitch gets a life time ban.
