Ralston MOTM. He has heart unlike some. Starfelt played well but was hammered by a very poor Bitton. Taylor has energy but his distribution is woeful. Our midfield is weak, Turnball hot and cold, Soro runs a lot but doesn't create too many chances. It's a long long road ahead.

Like I said, I think Starfeld will turn out to be a good buy, but he made a lot of bad mistakes tonight, one thing that annoyed me, was seeing John Kennedy giving instructions to a substitute, before he went on, I think JK is a symbol of past failures and shouldn't be anywhere near the first team set up, let Ange bring in his own personnel.

Starfelt was poor tonight but was thrown in deep end am no liking the way our full backs come inside we will get pulled apart from decent teams with wingers. But some good play tonight as well not all doom and gloom.

Aindoh, I’ve always refrained from giving Kennedy stick but for the reason you stated I agree wholeheartedly he should be somewhere else with ange having his own right hand man there.

Agree ralston has been celtics best player last two games. The guy takes a bit of stick but if more gave the graft he does we would be a lot better.

Ralston has heart and energy, if limited ability. He did great tonight but he's yet another example of how short we are on genuine quality in the first team.

Hopefully Dom McKay sitting in the stand saw the performances that we all did and has a plan to replace at least 6 of those players who started tonight's game.

I think Ralston played well, but he made a few mistakes as well, he is not as good a right back as Ajer was, I think Ralston is the sort of guy who will always give 100%, but we need an upgrade in the right back position, also I think Eddy would benefit from somebody playing up with him in a front two, somebody like LG or maybe the Japanese Bhoy, I wonder what the two new guys thought of their introduction to Scottish football, it was an entertaining match, to watch, but more harum scarum than skillfull, Hearts I think still felt hard done by, after the cup final, and wanted to right what they seen as a wrong, but we should have been better prepared, I think sticking with Welsh and Murray, would have been better in settling the defence, I think they would have risen to the occasion and the atmosphere.

Ralston did good for the goal, and tried hard. However, I would hope that Ange kicks his ass for being where he was when he scored. Given our defensive frailties, i. e. when we lose the ball we're all over the place, Ralston should have been holding his position.

As for McGregor and Turnbull, extra training until further notice, or just leave! I'm sick of seeing them ball watching, ambling about, when the opposition has the ball. Look behind you, to the side, sniff the danger, expect the danger. Both really need to work on their positioning.

Neither are great shakes going forward either, too hit and miss, passes going astray, under-hit, over-hit, suicides passes. They both have a lot of work to do!

guys never posted here, and generally am passive! agree with all sentiments on these comments but stronger.

Ralston was good but we have scottish championship full backs at best, these boys would struggle at motherwell.

soro is the poor mans mike galloway.

Eddy and Christie, i will drive them to the next clubs free of charge.

Let’s forget a lot of misplaced passes from him, 95% of crosses going way over the other side of the pitch and every other amateur display, technically the worst player I’ve seen at Celtic with Taylor a close second. He is garbage and always will be.

He actually reminds me of someone who plays fives and is terrible but will come up with a wee wonder goal like tonight.
