A feel sorry for all fans who faithfully bought season tickets this board don't deserve our support, we have all been short changed. I feel if this continues and big ange doesn't get the full back he needs he will walk. I think he is a man of pride and going into gun fights with water pistols is something he won't do.

This stems from the board being led up the garden path by Howe, had Ange been brought in sooner then players would've been brought in sooner. I know C.V. doesn't help but more signings are needed quickly👍.

You can't seriously be trying to put this on Eddie Howe? His loyalties aren't with us. The board should have acted on sorting out this playing squad and getting manager in around 4/ 5 months ago.

Everyone of us could see we needed a lot of ins and outs this year, the only ones who haven't got it are the board.

100% correct malkybhoy and I’ve said very much the same. Howe should never have got the time he did to mess the club about. Lennon should never have got the time he did before finally being removed, and it should never have taken 4 months to put ange in place knowing full well the extent of job he’d have on his hands …… all of that plus more all lie at boardroom level.

So it was the boards fault for stting on their hands waiting on howe no pep btw, a guy who managed rhe mighty Bournemouth, he should have been given a few weeks to make his mind up no 4 months🥱.

This is 100% down to the BOARD.

I had no expectations of even qualifying for Europe given the players and time Ange has had to work with.

He still needs quality signings in the door (min of 6) but we we need them quickly in order to get off to a good start in the league.

If the right players are not signed and we start dropping points the pressure will increase dramatically from all sides.

This seasons League Title is what it's ALL about, play the 2nd in the Cups.

Over to you Dominic McKay.

The board dropped the ball with Howie. Now we're not privy to what agreements were made or in place if any. But to let Howie mull his decision over for months on end, either he have assurances to the board or the board where just sitting with their fingers crossed. Either way the Howie situation dragged on far to long and HELPED put us where we are today.

the board is full of hard nosed business men yet its they same top notch men that allowed themselves to jilted at the alter and by a man that's still unemployed in football, why because they don't have the love of the club as they once did or perhaps due to the financial situation they don't get the dividends they once did but they are going through the motions hoping to get lucky by the manager they've hired, big ange is probably been told how lucky he is to get this opportunity, meanwhile they still do the transfers and ange will try to coach them his style where he wants that type of player or not, i believe he will have had imput to the japanese laddie.

The board should not have let the Howe situation drag on. If they thought there was doubts about him coming then they should've looked elsewhere. However I genuinely believe the board thought he was coming.

The board should have said to Howe, we need a descision in a week if you haven't signed we move on. Simple.

'Big Teams' do not let a guy like Howe dictate the proceedings, with the ground crumbling beneath their feet and prize money evaporating. Different story if they were waiting on Mourinho or Benitez etc, but the club should have acted assertively and timeously, if only to save face and move on without wasting weeks, waiting and wondering.
we have been chasing our tails from a disaster to a predicament.
