If it is the Aussie guy now think how there fans an owner are feeling if he walks away from them. Leaving then high and dry it's business. It's a big job and all Celtic FC are doing is giving the media click bait and guessing games which all sounds bad depending what spin they put on it. Celtic don't do themselfs any favours with there clumsiness and secrets.
If the celtic board stood up to all the rumours and ex players, the media talking us down it would help, but Celtic say nothing as we never stand up for ourselves it sometimes feels that they don't give a hoot.
I can't answer this maybe it's a case of action speakslouder than words and try and make them look bad, it's not working. There is a lot of work to be done so if Celtic are doing everything in secret then so be. Celtic have been doing this for years now so we need to assume that they know exactly what they are doing.
I was thinking maybe the 10 in a row is more important to the fans and not Celtic maybe making money in the end is the goal it has to be. it's a business and a very gd business model. We as fans think we know better but we don't know anything that's going on at board meetings none of us do. We all follow certain individuals who we think are in the know but they know nothing it's all just here say until it gets announced.
Celtic FC will not give newspaper media outlets and no individual person first dips on reporting exciting news from Parkhead to get head line news it's all just made up before and after.
All Celtic will do is put a small sentence on Twitter or the same sentence on there website that's it as that's the most info excitement that they do.

The thing is the board have left themselves open to criticism and with each passing day, lots of fans get more angry and disillusioned.

My main worries are that we have left things too late to win our title back next season and if the board don't get the right man in and back him in the transfer market, then the divide between a large number of fans and the board will only widen and will likely have a negative effect on moving forward.

They are not a good team . if we fill the positions that need filled last season with good players instead of average/ poor ones and if ange gets them fit and motivated again . then I don't see any problem winning back the league.

Deep River Bhoy - If you cast your mind back to when Deila took over. At the time he claimed that the players were not fit enough to play the way he wanted. As a result the players were dead on their feet after about 60 minutes for the first half of the season. We did not see the players fitness reach the required levels until after Xmas.

I suspect this is exactly what will happen if Ange is new manager. This is why I am peeved off with the board for not getting this sorted sooner. The sensible thing would have been to replace Lennon in December and get new manager into assess the squad before January window and then sign players for the most in need positions in January and then get rest in summer. It would have also allowed managed time to assess squad, get them fit enough and familiar with new systems and style.

Alas, it did not happen and we are were we are and we now just have to make the best of a bad situation.

Myself personally I have written off next season as so much work to do, it doesn't matter who comes in as head coach in my opinion it is very unlikely that we will win the league. If we do then that is a bonus.

I think underestimating them as not a good team is a dangerous way to go. Taking out the derby games last season we still lost 16 points more than them. We haven’t had better head to head in league than them for 4 years.
Yes they are no world beaters but last season they learned to pick up points when they were playing poorly.
Let’s just get our own house in order and make sure we can capitalise whenever they drop points throughout the season and put pressure on them when we can as history shows they normally choke.
