Good shout Tony you’re not asking much though asking for the best centre half I’ve seen at Celtic Park in my lifetime other than Van Dyke! Boruc, McGrain, Elliot, Van Dyke and KT wouldn’t be a bad benchmark eh?

Elliot was great but I liked big Johan. Would also have tom boyd over kt. No doubt kt will be better but based on their time at celtic boyd gets my vote.

KT loses massive points for his time at the club and is no Celtic great for me. Tommy Boyd and Johan are great shouts and left us with better memories. I was speaking purely on ability and potential. Good points though 👍☘️.

Loved big Elliot. that's how I want a defender to play, big stubbsie is up there too, a centre half that could spray 40 yard diagonal passes into the path of a running winger. Top class the pair of them.

I don't understand why we haven't tapped into the Dutch market again. I remember when we all realised big virgil was a player, some Dutch coach was interviewed and said that there was plenty more like him if not better! . Something to do with the way the Dutch are coached from a young age in reading the game etc.
