Our club are quite correct making use of the Furlough scheme after all we have paid millions of pounds in taxes into the coffers over the years.
Clubs that have evaded paying their taxes, depriving the likes of the Armed forces and NHS of much needed funds should be banned from using the scheme🤔.

I think not sure but the company's that are getting support with the 80% has to show full tax accounts up to date? If Servco haven't got full tax accounts then they would not qualify for the help. I am sure some one can clear that up.

Personally I think it is an embarrassment that the club are furloughing the non playing staff, especially when the very highly paid players could take a cut and be sweet. Add to that the 30-odd million in the bank, absolute disgrace if you ask me.

Why is it an embarrassment royjac? Why shouldn't we take something back out of what we've paid millions into over the years. Why have employees with nothing to do at work putting themselves in danger for no reason when they could be at home with their loved ones. Every business is doing it except Celtic are making up the extra 20% so our employees are no worse off.

The Coronavirus retention scheme is for companies that would have to lay off their staff because they can't afford to pay them or would go bust in keeping them on and paying them, for me it is morally wrong for Celtic football club to be exploiting this scheme. Pure penny pinching as usual, I get there are loopholes not been closed by the UK government that allows us to use it but morally we shouldn't as we can afford to let the staff be at home and pay them.

All the top clubs around Europe the players have taken a wage cut to allow the staff to be kept on, we should be doing the same. And as I said we have 30m in the bank for christ sake, wrong just wrong.

I'm talking about the Government retention scheme, there are plenty of financially stable companies taking advantage of this scheme, they would be mad not to.
