Neil Lennon has made the best start of any celtic manager in history, ahead of the likes of Jock Stein and Willie Maley. Yet there are some sections of the support, myself included, who continue to doubt his appointment!
Have we become spoiled and expectant with a sense of self entitlement with our success?
I remember the dark days and have always appreciated any silverware that has come our way, I think I and a few others owe Lennon an apology for our ungrateful attitude👏👏.

Nice to hear you say that Malkybhoy, you weren’t the only one but certainly one of the most vociferous, so it’s good to hear you back in the ranks.
We are on our way to the 10, Mr Neil Lennon former Player, Captain, Coach and current Manager has started us off on the way by Winning the first 3 titles on this run, by winning the 8th on this run and he will bring us 9 and 10 with a few bumps along the way, but he will deliver, he always has, this is the type of person who truly deserves to be called a Legend, in the days when this word is used to freely, it is not used enough in the description of our current manager.

Lenny is a good manager and I am confident he will secure 10 in a row and then move on.
Lenny won his first 16 league games as Celtic manager. ( last 8 in 2010 and first 8 in season 2010/ 11) which must be a proud record.
He managed Hibs to the championship title, losing only 3 games (sevco lost 12 games, in 2 years in the championship) . Lenny's Hibs then finished 4th in the premiership. he's proved he can get the job done.
We still need to back him, when results don't go our way.

Well said malky emotions were definitely running high when he got the job. ed said yesterday he was maybe to hasty and now a few of the doubters doing the same all I've ever said give him a chance and he's delivered. other than cluj but apart from the money in the cl the Europa is our level because we might have been on the wrong end of a few doings.

{Ed007's Note - I never said that I was too hasty. I'm still not happy that Lennon got the job or the way he got it - to have not even considered any other candidates shows that the board were always going for the cheap option and it's a serious failure by the board to do the best for the Club and it's shareholders.
It's far too early to judge - that should be done in May - but if you listen to some fans you'd think we've already won another treble and had a good year in Europe.
God only knows why malkybhoy thinks anyone owes Neil Lennon an apology!}

Lennon will only have delivered when he secures the next 2 titles.
European runs and cup wins are a bonus.
It's good to see the fans are starting to pull in the same direction.

To be fair ed i am yet to see a candidate that really stuck out a heard bilic and cocu mentioned on here but imo i think that would have been a disaster but it's only my opinion.

{Ed007's Note - You don't know who any the candidates and we'll never know who had put themselves forward or shown interest but I'd bet my last dime there was better candidates than Lennon in there.
The board played a blinder in getting the easy cheap option & the emotional option that appeased the majority of fans while Lawwell will be delighted to have someone that he can control.
Some see us exiting the CL as a disaster but that's not my opinion.}

It was def the cheap option no argument but some of the candidates mentioned on here were crazy but they had sexy foreign names.

Yes he has started well apart from the disastrous Cluj game what was entirely his fault. I will wait until the end of the season before I say I was wrong. I still think the board was wrong with the way he got the job But as Ed said others should have had an interview at least. I ofcourse hope we win at least the league and the team is stronger than it was at the end of last season But he hasn't won anything yet but it is looking good so far.
