there were no streams to be found on the weekend - I wonder if anyone has cracked the new code.

{Ed007's Note - Does anyone know if the streams were working on the paid IPTV sites on Saturday?}

Nope I’ve got iptv smarters usually a brilliant package and the who app is wiped? Apparently apps that use xtreme codes are gubbed. But I can see my app is slowly getting rebuilt but only terrestrial channels so far no box sets sports or movies yet 🙁.

{Ed007's Note - I read this earlier: https://t.ly/2Jzpb

IPTV is the same as getiing an Amazon fire stick loaded?

{Ed007's Note - Yeah kind of but you pay a monthly or yearly fee and it's meant to be more reliable

Yes ed. I got the first half.

The problem is Celtic have found a way of tracing the source of the stream much faster and closing it down. It means your provider will need to be at the ready with another stream when this happens. The last few weeks have seen most IPTV providers take a hit due to software they use to sort their streams being taken down. Many are working on alternatives to this and cannot monitor Celtic TV and replace the stream that was closed straight away. Hopefully in the next few weeks viewing will become more settled once the software or alternative software is in place.

{Ed007's Note - It's like back in the day when you could get copied computer games, no sooner had the game developers came up with new security the hackers came up up with a way to crack the new code.
Do you know if I buy a VPN can I just subscribe to CelticTV and watch games as if I'm not in the UK?}

Iptv is still down heard it may be back this week.

It’s none of the above. The authorities have raided xtreme codes the main software panel for most iptv providers worldwide this has caused a load of servers to go down while they move to different software.
You can’t do that as easy anymore ed they have software now to track if a vpn is being used.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers, Welshy 👍

Think that's why the IPTV servers were struggling with Celtic TV before they were shut down, Celtic TV were able to block or trace the VPN to block people viewing (i think)

that should work. Some of the problems with Celtic TV this season hasn't been down to IPTV providers not sourcing streams, it has actually been Celtic TV service that has been down at times as they try to block illegal users they have blocked genuine accounts at the same time. As said above the xtream code issue is causing havoc just now with IPTV but it probably won't take too long before that system is cloned or reproduced.

Iptv is here to stay it will never go. As for Celtic tv that’s small fry encryption compared to the rest you’ve just got to realise that Celtic tv isn’t high up on priorities most use re streams provided by others find a server provider (not a reseller) who’s a Tim and your sorted 😏.

I was looking at the VPN option on Sunday ed after you gave me the head up regarding the streams. Ran out of time so I sacked it - but I sounds like (cheers welshy) that’s no really an option.
Shame I’d happily pay for Celtic tv as I can’t get to the games.

{Ed007's Note - Me too mate.}

No Ed. If you buy a vpn they somehow know your using it. Unless someone has a way past this. But my old man used several vpns and used my CelticTV details. He can’t watch game and it says something like “you cannot stream this over a vpn”. Maybe someone has away of doing it, but it’s not as easy as using a vpn and buying CelticTV.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

Celtic should really do something more innovative with streaming games although I don't know what the rules and regulations of the TV deals but why not show the games for free on YouTube and make the money from views or stream on twitch the Celtic t. v. product is poor and a bit on the pricey side they could get more people to subscribe for $5 on twitch meaning more subscribers and ad revenue just a thought I had.

Most of my iptv is back . Waiting till the game starts for Celtic tv . Loads of app changes due to the original apps using xtreme codes. New panels n load balancing. But club channels have been guaranteed for tonight . So time will tell 🙈.

Celtic tv has come on leaps and bounds in all fairness. The restrictions are obvious but in all fairness I’d subscribe. Before iptv I did. We aren’t the only ones tho this 3pm block holds most clubs back. Look at Real Madrid and Barcelona their ability to sell tv packages is phenomenal. It’s a blessing for the small teams in the epl tho as I’m sure most clubs would prefer a package suited to themselves lfctv mutv etc would blow the rest out of the water.

A possible solution to bypass the new protocols would be to live record your screen and broadcast the recording. This would also allow you time to cover over your box number when is gets displayed on the screen.
