Morning lads.

Can I ask if any of you have received any e-mails supposedly from me personally or anyone associated with the sites that have turned out to be a scam or trying to extort/ fleece money from you?

Cheers

Ed I’ve had one asking to put bitcoins to them or they’re going to expose me pleasuring myself, looked on google and seems loads of people have been getting them recently 👍🏻.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah I've had them too, as you say it's happening to millions of people and it seems to be related to a LinkedIn hack from years ago. Do you remember what e-mail address yours came from?}

It was from at 6087.com mate had a few recently right enough. Felt like mailing them but then read up and as you say seems to be going round for a while.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate 👍

I got one saying to send them money 'and' they're going to send me photos of Ed pleasuring himself. I paid and still no pics!

{Ed007's Note - I fixed that for you and told the Mrs you're delivery is late 😁 Seriously though if you've got any smidgen of intelligence and common sense you'd know you won't get anything like that from me or our sites but if you do then let me know.
It's not something I know that much about but I was told today that you can check this kind of stuff on sites like haveibeenpwned.com .......

I received a spam email about tv license that looked genuine but it came from a fraudulent website requesting you to set up a new direct debit.

{Ed007's Note - I'm talking about one from my e-mail address mate. I was talking to Ed001 about all this yesterday and he told me that you can go onto www.haveibeenpwned.com and search to see if your e-mail address has been compromised and where from - there's been a few really big ones including Yahoo and LinkedIn.}
