James Forrest is a true legend and more “celtic through and through” than KT will ever be.

gbhoy86 how do you figure that one out? KT has not came out said he wants to leave its the club who have advised him if they get an offer that's suitable for them he can speak to them he's not asked for a transfer or kicked up a fuss.

Dmc he doesn't need to say it though, it's obvious. He'd say otherwise but the fact there are/ have been talks with other clubs shows there is a willingness to move. The fact that no interest is shown in the likes of James and Calmac tells me that it's known that they are not up for a move. Their agents are probably instructed for contract renewals only as they haven't ever seemed interested in moving. let's face it, both would get a game for most teams in the pub league, but it's never happened. Why? Because they don't want it to. KT doesn't think the same, clearly.

James forrest is committed to Celtic for his entire career. If Tierney was the same then he would tell Celtic that and it would be over. He obviously hasn't so Celtic are entertaining offers. Forrest is on course to be Celtics most decorated player EVER. If that doesn't merit legend status then what does he have to do to earn it and how does Tierney deserve it? Forrest is a Celtic legend and Tierney is not, simple as that.

gbhoy86 and TheBhoyWander.
Using your principle it must mean that people who are proud of their nationality should never live in another country otherwise they're not real.
How can anyone question KT's love for our club? If he wants to better himself financially and test his ability at a higher level then you think that shows disloyalty to Celtic? WALOB!
He isn't away yet but if he does go then he'll go with my best wishes and gratitude for showing young kids that dreams really can come true.

HH.

If Forrest had the potential to be the best in the world in his position you can bet that he'd have tried himself at the highest level.
KT has that chance so no one should grudge him that move.

It's funny that fans think it's ok for the club to move on 12 players but not ok for a player to what a move eh.

Bestybhoy, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Aww behave yourself, Forrest is a good player and has been a valuable asset, but if he was more consistent when he was younger there would have been a big bid and he'd have gone. Now he is settled he would only be stepping down, same as brown they are happy to play out their career here now.

It makes more sense than the bollox you wrote. To question KT is ridiculous beyond belief. It's total nonsense and if you can't see the error of your ways then it's your soul that needs mercy and much more besides. lol HH.

Bestybhoy read my posts properly before replying. I never questioned Tierney once. I simply stated that Forrest is a legend and Tierney is not. I'm not sure how anyone can debate that. If Tierney stays and brings in the trophy haul Forrest has then fine, but he won't. Forrest has without doubt had opportunities to go elsewhere, but he's still here because he loves Celtic. Remember this is the guy that won player of the year and had his best season ever, better than any of Tierney's - who had a pretty average season. Just because Forrest doesn't go on and on about his love for the club and go mental every time he scores doesn't diminish his love for the club. Plus what you replied with first genuinely made no sense what so ever lol.

Whats all this guff about souls and mercy gimme strength really. Next we will be quoting fire and brimstone. I agree that Forrest and Broony can achieve legendary status as length of service and trophies won. Forrest on his day is unplayable and in recent seasons had found his consistent form, he was brilliant against Bayern Munich looked world class but big eck wouldn't pick him for national team! As for KT good luck he is obvs away or he would come out and say. However he did do an interview saying how he could be a one man club etc. He didn't need to do all the extrovert love for the club stuff only to then leave. I understand him wanting to play at a higher level but completely understand fans who feel he has overstated his position and especially at this time in our clubs history. Rodgers anyone. He loves the club too. anyway let's get 25 million and move on.

Changed days on here Jamesy being touted as legend! Rewind 2 seasons and he’d a been calling The Samaritans if he read the stuff on this page about him. Great wee player but even if he had been more consistent I think legend is a bit much.

06 Aug 2019 13:44:46
So being one of Celtics most decorated players and on course to becoming THE MOST DECORTED PLAYER IN CELTICS HISTORY doesn't count for club legend status? What does the wee man have to do to get the credit he deserves?

DECORATED* lol.

Bestybhoy we all know what team KT supported growing up but do you know who wee James supported. Coming from half a mile away from where he grew up I know for a fact he wasn’t brought up a Celtic supporter. I pretty sure he has changed his mind now but before he signed with Celtic he was sitting in a corridor at ipox waiting to sign with them and after an hour and a half of sitting about and not one person bothering with him his dad said common son let’s go and see what Celtic have to offer. And the rest is history as you know it.

Lovely story, but why does it matter?

17.) 06 Aug 2019
06 Aug 2019 15:49:37
It matters because you came out with nonsense saying Forrest is more Celtic through and through that Tierney, which is a lot of mince. If and when KT leaves it won't make him any less a Celtic fan or Celtic through and through.

18.) 06 Aug 2019
06 Aug 2019 15:52:01
And truth be told guys like Forrest won't be a legend until we win the ten. That will lift him in to legendary status.

given half the chance jamesy would have been off mind a few years back before BR came in he wasnt going to sign a new deal meaning he would have left for nothing. KT if leave will pull in the most money any transfer our club has dealt with - also TheBhoyWander never heard of the saying silence is golden. So many our fans have jumped on KT`s back when he hasn't done anything wrong - neversaid he wants to leave but i remember a very sullen stan petrov standing up the tunnel the day we won the league because he wanted away and he never got nearly as much grief as Kieran is -.

Bestybhoy, I never questioned Keiran's love for Celtic or his credentials as a Celtic fan. I also never said I'd begrudge him his move either. Did you even read my post before spouting that drivel? I am merely saying that he is clearly up for moving clubs whereas players like Jamesy and Calmac are not. It's all there in plain English.

I forgot got about that dmcl 67. Both him and rogic were ready to leave.
That pretty much kills gbhoy and the bhoy wonders points dead.

Bestyboyd, I have had many opportunities to live abroad but I am so fond of my Irishness, I turned down lucrative opportunities to move . My love of Ireland and Celtic meant more to me than salaries 2/ 3 times but I would have had to move . I am retired now and have enough to do me and no regrets .
If K T really does love Celtic as a fan and player and if he leaves at 22, I wonder when his football career is over will he be able to say no regrets . When he is 70, if he lives that long will he still have no regrets . When he reads every year about a gathering for those instrumental in attaining 10 in a row and his name is not up in lights nor is he invited, will he have no regrets,
When his grandson asks “Papa what did u do for 10 in a row? Will Kieran have no regrets saying “I left”.
