Poor performance last night. Woeful at times in the 2nd half. Strange lineup and again struggling against a well organised opponent. Was hoping for a different tactical approach this season. Even some earlier subs would help.

Some positives though. New LB looks good going forward. Christie looks sharp. Thought Morgan done ok. There is a player in there.

There was a new tactical approach 3 at the back McGregor playing further forward a new winger set up with Forrest out left. Anything else you didn’t notice? We played great last night more speed on attack getting more balls into the box instead of pass pass pass. oh then another pass that we have seen the last 3 seasons? More direct and higher tempo exactly what Lennon said he would try to do. I will take that all season long? 🙂🍀🏆🏆🏆.

That pass, pass, pass you talk about won us 3 trebles.
Looked to me it was 4 at the back with Ajer told to tuck in with Boli free reign to bomb forward. And what’s the point constantly putting crosses into the box when we don’t have a mumber 9 who’s able to get his head on the end of them?

I agree the ball is being moved forward a lot quicker than it was last season, christ two years ago we lost in Gibralter and toiled for a while home as the players are not 100% yet. This year we knock out the bosnian champions and scored 5 goals and could have scored more so hardly toiling! Halfway through the 1st half the manager swapped the wingers over and it made a difference. There is a group of fans who do not want Lenny and will moan at anything regardless of how we do. These people are forgetting how dreadful were up till early december late November last season. We had a team out there that will not be the team that will start many games and yet we were comfortable,

Let's be honest here. That team were very ordinary indeed and Bain had practically nothing to do - except pick the ball out the net, when we got careless at the the back and lost concentration.
We had almost total possession (as you would have expected) and some of the build up play was well-worked and created openings.
However, as per last season we struggle to score goals and finish teams off when we dominate games and we need a real striker.
Eddy is a fine player - but not a centre-forward and LG is still trying to fight his way into contention and may never be the same?
I know we have Bayo - but at the same time, he is either unlucky or injury prone and has never really got going in a Celtic jersey.
Sinclair does not seem to be in the managers plans for some reason and that again has contributed to the lack of goals, while his persistence to keep switching JF from his best position can be unsettling and damaging to the player and the team?
Obviously a RB is paramount to the balance and line-up of the side, but we really need to address the lack of goals as well, as opponents are going to get much tougher than last night.

Bigp you must have been watching a different game from me. The formation looked the same as Rodgers only more direct. As said above its pointless being more direct when we are lacking up front. That team were on par with a lower placed SPL side. We should be putting 4 or 5 by them at home. We were crying out for 2 up front.

Naka, I will back Lennon home and away this season as I've done for several before him. I'm disappointed that he hasn't tried to put more if his own stamp in the play. It still seems very Rodgers at the moment.
