We can't just sign one. We'd be one Injury away from a striker playing in 4 competitions. Two injuries away from Maeda up top. Gulp.

From today’s reports I would have thought the third striker was the Canadian we had multiple bids turned down for. But knowing our board he may have been no 2.

If he's our 3rd striker behind Kyogo and Idah or competing with idah (should he sign) that's fine.

If he's the only striker we sign, that's another matter entirely ?

It's very frustrating but I also think it's quite genuine, in this day and age it's hard to keep deals under Wraps, and agents will blab to increase the value of their player that'd their job, so we are obviously pondering slowly and unimaginatively!
