I can’t say I’m happy with that lineup.
It involves 6 players who have struggled on that surface over the years.
I thought the team picked itself.
Hart
Juranovic, CCV, Starfelt, Taylor
O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate
Abada, Giakoumakis, Jota.
I was going to write that 14 of the players who got beat there in September, only 5 of them would start in the lineup above and that includes Joe Hart.
I think that would’ve been a positive.
I’m not as confident now.
The one day I was wanting rain to help the playing surface and there’s not a cloud in the sky.
I’ve bet Celtic to score at least 2 goals and Celtic to get at least 8 corners @ 3/ 1.
Also Celtic to score in both halves and Celtic to get at least 4 corners in both halves @ 10/ 1.

The good thing is Celtic have a strong bench and we can make 5 substitutes.

Meh. Thought Forrest was up for it when he came on in the last game, and hope he takes his chance. I want to like, and value, Bitton's commitment and flexibility, but I haven't seen anything to suggest he's a starter in a tricky tie. Juranovic I would have thought undroppable, basically: I don't get that bit at all.

While I wouldn't have Bitton anywhere near my squad it at least allows McGregor to play further forward.

GG must not be 100% but hopefully can make an impact from the bench if needed. Jota and Forrest need to turn up today.

Seems a strange side, obviously he knows more than us but I wouldn’t have thought any Celtic fan would have predicted that side .

Usually when I criticize a player he puts in a good performance. But in a game where width is going to be crucial we start Forrest!? He is so out of form and lazy he just cuts inside jogs into midfield and lays the ball off rather than beat his man and put a ball in the box. That now said I fancy him scoring the winner. HH.

I think Bitton is there to allow Cal-Mac a more creative role, however, Bitton is a card-magnet and it may be risky? It's not near our best starting line-up, but that's a bench and a half and if we struggle, Ange needs to expedite the changes and not wait too long. Knew Sevco would win yesterday, so it's up to us to react well and although it's a very hard fixture, we have the players - as long as they produce the goods and the defense has also got to perform.

Ed but with narrow pitches and packed defences you can't always pass through teams it needs to be out wide. If we make more of crosses and corners we would be unstoppable. My Forrrst prediction came in just hope it doesn't need to go 3-2 to sweat out the remainder of the game lol.

Before the game I was unsure with the team ange put out, but that was the best possible performance we could have expected on that disgrace of a pitch. A massive 3 points.

Your right Quinn, that pitch is a disgrace.
Rogic, Maeda and Forrest all went down after twisting their ankles on the surface.
Thank goodness all 3 weren’t seriously injured and could play on.

Bitton was excellent today and he hasn't let us down once this season he breaks up attacks and calms things down allowing those in front to do their thing. Accomished performance today on a horrible pitch. GG rested today and hopefully ready to go in next game.

Thought we were brilliant. I won't lie, I could have done with a valium or thirty the 24 hours before it. Double that at kick off. Five minutes in, I was as calm as a really calm person. Knew we were doing them, even after Callum missed the penalty.
