Cannot see the logic in MaCarthy. Too old always injured. Is this an Irish thing. If your Irish you good enough. I would rather have good young Scots or at least young players who play up here.
How many people wanted him or MaCarther when they played for Hamilton.
And i wonder if NL would now have liked to have brought in Hladky instead of Barkas and waited to see if Foster would change his mind
I hope for his sake Duffy hits the ground running remember he could not get into a club near the bottom of the EPL.

@Jonace he's not Irish he's scottish born and breed in Scotland. He plays for Ireland because Scotland didn't pick him at youth level and Ireland did through his grandparents.

I understand that but you missed the point Because he plays for eire he becomes good enough. Not so if you play for our home country.
If nhe was so good why did we not pay Hamilton for him suddenly he plays for Ireland and he is great.
