Basel have sayed Peter Ankersen is leaving the summer deffinently a player wee should be sniffing around.

It was reported early on in the window that we were interested. Then it was reported that we weren't. NL said at the time: "I'm not going to talk about any players until they are sitting next to me. It's just speculation. " So who knows. Looks an upgrade on Lustig from what I've seen in the Europa.

Anyone know why he is surplus to requirements at Copenhagen? I know he has one year left on his deal, but looks a good player, 20 odd caps aswell.

@1967stephen think the surplus to requirements is made up. As I see it he’s been promised a move and said this is his time to go hence them bringing in a new rb. Meant to have a great engine and capable going both ways. Would make a good signing.

Yeah he would be a great signing but being honest about it I think he is hoping for a bigger league than this one too forward his career but there is always hope.
