Chris. Stacey was by far the best right back in England out side the premier league last year. Involved in 18 goals across the board. Also a good defender. Him and James Justin are the reason Luton won League One. He’d be by far the best possible signing we could pick up for so cheap. His potential is massive and that’s why premier league clubs are linked. James Justin went to Leicester for 10 million. Stacey is a better Right Back than Justin is a left back. Don’t judge players on there club. Judge them by ability.

Kle I’m judging him bu the standard of Leauge he’s in which is crap how many standouts in league 1 go up to championship and can’t handle it? He’s the best out side the premier league ridiculous comment imo I can name one of the top of my head that’s better in league 1 Dimitri Cavaré imo is a better player, £10m the English leauge players are insanely over inflated he’s not worth £10m I’ve watched a few of his games and he’s no bad but not the best outside premier league 😂 mcgeady is rated one of the best players in leauge 1 would I have him at celtic no chance, better than Ryan shotten nope not even close come on we can do better.

Also the reason Luton won the league wasn’t because of two full backs come on now nothing to do with James Collins being the top scorer in the league? Would you have him at celtic? Not a chance.

From all those refracted comments about other players and not the player in question. When your right back is laying on 18 goals for the team in a whole season I do think he’s one of two mains reasons they won the league. James Justin also involved directly in 10 goals. Our right backs and left backs have never layed out stats like that in a long time. Quality is present in certain players. Not every player is bad because he plays in a lesser league. Terrible way to look at football as a whole if that’s your opinion.

Well Chrisbhoy we signed Griffiths from league one wolves where he couldn't get a game and he's scored over 100 goals for us.
There was also Gary Hooper who played for Scunthorpe in league one and championship and done great with us.

Stacey will prove a lot wrong wherever he ends up. I would be delighted to get him and would sort our rb slot out till Southampton come calling in 3 years time.

I agree that Stacey had a great Season in 3rd tier of English Football but how you can say he was the best RB outside of BPL is baffling.
If he moved to Championship and done well and PROVED he was the best in the league then your comments would hold more substance but he hasn’t yet.
That’s like saying Aribo who signed for Rangers was the best midfield player outside of BPL last season when again he had a good season might become a better player but hasn’t PROVED it yet.

All this rubbish about what league he’s in. If he’s a player he’s a player. Do we not moan when our best players go for a song because of the impression of our league. If you can’t see Stacy is a player, I pity the fool and would take anything subsequently written about any clips layers ability with a heavy dose of, you really haven’t got an eye for a player. :) . Stacy will be a star. Hopefully with us before we sell him back down the road.

Gary Hooper did okay when we signed him from the mighty Scunthorpe united.
