Looks like we may be hitting the market looking for that GK everyone's been hoping for as it looks like Sieghrist could be off to the land down under to be closer to his Mrs.

GG away to MLS on a 3 year deal with Atlanta.

rdb21

1.) 09 Feb 2023 11:29:51
Best of luck just hope he doesn't need to compete for the jersey or he will be looking for a new club by the summer.

2.) 10 Feb 2023 08:04:45
He says the facilities are amazing, shame about the league, most players are leaving there to enhance there careers and end up there after a good career in Europe, but good luck to him.

3.) 10 Feb 2023 16:46:54
agreed Mally, step back and 1 he will regret.

Hi Ed, hope you're doing well mate.

I was wondering if you had any info on the rumours about Ryan Mmae?

Is there any serious interest from us or is it another case of the agent using the club to drum up interest from elsewhere?

rdb21

{Ed007's Note - I'm good thanks buddy ? Celtic have scouted Ryan Mmaee but I don't know if there is any plans to move forward with a move for him.}

1.) 11 Jun 2022 17:57:15
Glad to hear it bud!

Cheers for the info, I keep seeing articles about him, one even comparing him to the Skelper so wasn't sure how much of it could be trusted but it's good to know that despite our prowess were still looking for different options. Personally, I'm happy if we have forwards with different strengths, it gives us the option and ability to play a few ways and keep things fresh and keep opponents guessing.

I think we've had a few too many players be figured out by teams, Sinclair being the most recent and it nullifies a lot of the threat that once offered.

{Ed007's Note - ?

2.) 12 Jun 2022 10:59:48
I would love us to sign Mmaee he looks really good. Us being in the CL is a draw but the lad has options and my fear is a better league and more money is always an issue for us. There may be nothing in it as is the case with the vast majority of rumours, but I think Ange knows he needs another striker and I trust him to get us one who isn’t utterly useless like the busload of Lawells pathetic punts over too many years.

Apparently that's Abada away to Palace ?‍♂️ and so the attempted settling begins.

rdb21

1.) 21 May 2022 14:22:46
Were you hearing this?

2.) 21 May 2022 16:15:56
Total bollocks of a story.

3.) 21 May 2022 16:59:05
Absolute pish, he's come out and said so himself.

4.) 21 May 2022 19:16:29
Just seen the headline to what looks like click bait to me, I did in fact read the story and it is a re-hashed version of what he said 2 weeks ago when asked about his future and links away from the club, the article failed to mention at the end that Abada also said in the very same answer to the very same question know doubt, “that it’s his ambition and childhood dream was to play in the champions league” so there goes the Palace links no chance they will ever hear the anthem in their stadium.

Has anyone heard any more about Soro moving to the MLS?

rdb21

1.) 19 Jan 2022 17:37:44
I read one story last week but have seen nothing since.

Soro is one of a few players who's careers (if they want a game) would benefit from a move away from CP.

Good afternoon folks,

It's the Arc today - 3.05 ParisLongchamp and Japan have major claims for their first win in this race with Through Seven Seas in green and white hoops. Currently 10/ 1.

The horse came second by a neck to the world's highest rated horse whi.

11 Sep 2023 13:06:56
2.30 Perth - Kyogo, I got it at 7/ 1 with a £5free bet.

rdb21

1.) 11 Sep 2023 14:45:42
Thanks for the tip mate won 40 quid.

2.) 11 Sep 2023 15:16:00
Nice one RDB.

I don’t bet generally but I thought about that one when I saw your post this morning but didn’t act on it unfortunately.

After that goal at the Bronx it was a certainty!

3.) 11 Sep 2023 15:33:46
@ rdb21 Literally money for nothing Well Done.

4.) 11 Sep 2023 15:37:46
A good 7/ 1 winner for you rdb. ?

It’s always better to get the early guaranteed odds, especially when it only wins at 5/ 1 like Kyogo.

I missed it because I’ve just seen your post.
I noticed Kyogo beat Gordon Elliott’s other horse and odds on favourite.

Kyogo runs from a brilliant stable and it’s one to keep an eye on.

5.) 11 Sep 2023 15:51:18
I’ve just watched a re-run of the race.

Kyogo looked like it was going to win easily but it then he had a little wobble, when he was running towards the line.

6.) 11 Sep 2023 17:05:31
Buzz

Maeda would have won that race!

7.) 11 Sep 2023 18:00:08
To be fair JFP,

Maeda is faster than Kyogo ?.

8.) 12 Sep 2023 16:50:15
Thanks lads and well done to those who were on it as well! Set me up nicely for the day.

01 Sep 2023 18:44:59
The fact Abada has signed his new deal today, of all days, is a distraction tactic to take eyes away from the front door and the lack of signings we needed in more.

I'm disappointed we haven't signed a third striker to the squad and a new GK was on everyone's shopping list . The players s in, by and large, were scouted with ebg ball.

rdb21

1.) 01 Sep 2023 19:16:27
If they think we are going to forget what we need because Abada extended his contract, they really aren’t in the zone, are they?

2.) 01 Sep 2023 19:55:40
Looking at players in.

Are Nawrocki, Lagerbielke or Phillips better than Starfelt?

Are Holm or Bernardo better than Mooy?

Are Yang Or Palma better than Jota

Is Tillio better than Abada?

Obviously we can't comment on the ones we have not seen. Did we need to strengthen some of these areas.

3.) 01 Sep 2023 21:21:06
100% we strengthened. Rocky, Lager and Phillips much better than Starfelt, Kobyashi and Iwata as CB options. I'm sure our 2 new young midfielders will contribute much more than an ageing Mooy. Every chance Yang and Palma can be as hood as Jota. And why does Tillio need to be better than Abada? Tillio should replace Forrest and provide competition for Abada.

05 Jun 2023 20:44:28
Too many people are treating this like they're Mrs has been playing away with the lad she said was just a friend.

Ange is an ambitious guy who has played a blinder and we've not exactly had nothing in return. Why shouldn't he be afforded his chance in the EPL?

All this bagde kisser b0llocks is mental. What are managers supposed to do when they get to a new club? Not appreciate the history and not throw themselves into the job?

Money talks and anyone who says they wouldn't leave their job for 10x as much to do it elsewhere is as delusional as a zombie.

Disappointing, yes but that's it.

Well kick on and continue to dominate because it's the Celtic way.

rdb21

1.) 05 Jun 2023 21:32:52
Rbd21, agree to an extent but he went OTP with his love for us, one big family, Building something special etc. Players he signed on that promise will feel let down and maybe strong but almost betrayed. 2 years, treble or not, doesn't cut it as a man of his word nor a true legend. A tainted legacy.

2.) 05 Jun 2023 22:24:40
Great post rdb21. Our support are developing a really sinister habit of turning on anybody who dares to leave. Folk love that Jota's in the retro kits and visiting the Brazen Head but as soon as he gets his big move it'll be thrown in his face.

3.) 05 Jun 2023 23:17:53
That's kinda the point I was trying to make, all the players and coaches are mercenaries, only in it for a buck and glory, we as supporters should accept, that our Diddy league is always going to be that. Our club is massive, but apart from Europe and games against TRIFC, the league is hopeless, we are only a stepping stone for all foreign players and staff, as much as it pains me to admit that. Who wouldn't want to earn the money on offer.

24 May 2023 17:24:37
Mrs just told me that for my 30th, were going to Paradise for the tour and meal. It'll be my Bhoys first time, I cannot wait.

Could anyone who's been before tell me how it is? I know most of it will have to be spent in trophy room ?.

rdb21

1.) 24 May 2023 18:02:23
Done it a few times. Trophy room is only a part if the day. You go into dressing room, tunnel, dug outs, directors box. start off in the new sports bar and the meal, in n07 restaurant, is top notch too with great views back onto pitch.

2.) 24 May 2023 20:55:23
Done it many many years ago and when shown round the boardroom there was a big biscuit tin on the boardroom table.

Got to assume it's a result of new training methods because it's too many at the same time for them all to be unrelated.

I think CCv will be wrapped in cotton wool and will be deployed against Sevco.

It's a real concern having him out the team, we seek to he hapless without him.

rdb21

{Ed007's Note - How many injuries have happened in training? Nawrocki was nursing an ankle injury a few weeks back but he played 90 mins on that pitch yesterday which is what is causing the problem - if it is true he is actually injured. Oh was injured in Forrest's testimonial, CCV's injury is a kick on from his injury last season as is AJs.....
So what's wrong with the training? Maybe Rodgers should have came out like the previous manager and said he expected a lot of injuries at first because of his training methods, it might be blamed on the players rather than the manager like before, as professional athletes, they should be fit enough.}

Never really had a season where he's played enough to show he's continually progressing but he's been solid when he's been in and his passing accuracy for a CB is class. He'll ddo well under BR I think.

Aye and when JF leaves we can sit around and question his loyalty to the club. People are deranged going on about Jota and Ange leaving and how they never loved the club but pushing JF out the door every window.

JF imo has earned the opportunity to finish his career with Celtic and while he might be on a decent wage, it's not going to bankrupt the club to repay the loyalty and service of the man. I'm sure more than once in his career he's had the chance to move elsewhere for big bucks but didn't go.

Biggest surprise was finding out he's only 25 ? he looks older than Brenda!

You can never underestimate a player who works as hard as he does. I think he'll come on leaps and bounds under the new manager.

No way should Celtic release Forrest. He's as important to this team as Calmac, his experience in the dressing room has been hailed by managers and he has contributed massively to the success the club has had over the last 15 years.

All this talk of loyalty from managers and people who want away and then to get rid of a man who's never pulled on another jersey in his career.

Always believed he should be afforded the opportunity to finish his career at Celtic, should he wish to.

The concern for me would be Vata is as lightweight as Kyogo and offers nothing different in terms of physicality, lacking the ability to bully defenders, which is imo what we need in a striker. If Vata is converted to a striker then plan b is just plan a but plan a harder ?.

I think O'Riley has the potential to become the perfect match between broonie and rogic with some help, he did the dirty stuff really well and was still able to influence the game with his creativity. If he can keep his shooting boots close by, he could be the main man this season.

SA will be looking to get the biggest pay day he can as he comes to the latter stages of his footballing career to set him up nicely to use the law degree he got during his time here.

The boys done well for himself and might choose the path of least resistance.
