correct me if i am wrong, but is McCarthys contract not up next season, if we take him on loan come jan he can sign a pre contract with us. so we will receive him for a loan fee this season then nothing next season. a couple of seasons with us and no doubt he will go back to the EPL for a decent amount considering he is only 25.

fantastic piece of business if we can get it through.

{Ed007's Note - McCarthy signed a new five year deal last season taking him up to 2020.}

Hayes played terrible in the cup final, numerous occasions he played morelos on side and that resulted in a chance for them additionally he let the ball get trapped underneath his feet in the middle of his own box. hayes is an impact player when your looking for an out ball, he's quick and deceptivly strong however he is no where near being a first choice left back for us.

I think the idea that its a bad day at the office or the anti football on a cheap green carpet restricted us is an excuse that will be peddled by most.

Reality is we don't have a competent management team. Lennon rightly got the praise in Rennes, on Thursday and against Sevco however Cluj in the Champs league followed by Dunfermline was horrendous, and today and last week against Hibs shows us there are much more internal issues than the usual excuses of incompetent refs and hammer throwing tactics.

Lennon cannot set a team up effectivly when he needs to deviate away from the direct quick passing home form we have showed recently. last season Rodgers fell into the same trap however Sevco were terrible, Now Sevco are not better than us but they are more equipped to deal with the SPL opposition.

I think we might struggle to get too 9, Lennons stubborness still sits beneath the surface, Ajer, McGregor, Brown, Forrest all look exhausted and have been extremly in-effective and Lennon persists in playing the same players. Ntcham, Taylor, Sinclair, Bitton are more than capable of coming in and performing.

no-one can fault Sevco, yes they are dross in most games and have had some good fortune however they have the motivation and mommentum now which could prove pivitol for them, especially should we drop any more points.

In my opinion we should have offered Moyes the job.

2 years ago tierney and robertson were at a similar level quality, progression, performance and profile wise, however liverpool have been excellent as has robertson and now robertson is seen as a level above tierney.

this is the reason he will want the move, tierney has all the qualities to match what robertson and achieve similar in similar environment however injuries and staying at celtic will not get him to that stage so he is quite right to want to move to the EPL if he has asperations of being one of the best full backs in the world which at this time robertson clearly is.

{Ed007's Note - As I said the other day on a thread before the morons killed it, how high will KT's star be in 2 years time? Will staying in Scotland winning 10 in a row attract a Barca or Chelsea or will it be a Southampton, Bournemouth or some other diddy Pub League team where he would need to waste another 2 years like VVD or Wanyama before a big club - and Arsenal are a big club - come calling again.}

N'tcham from what i have seen is a cross between brown and armstrong. he is strong, quick over 15 yards, quick passing and can thread a pass, although he has to work on his long range passing. he also has good feet and a fantastic enginge.

N'tcham will shine in europe, especially tight or away games. with regard to an advanced role and an attacking threat, then we will have to wait and see, but he has the attributes to be a very direct att mid as well as a dynamic cm.

reminds me of seedorf a little, build, movement and high tempo.

keeper has to collect the cross that led to the second goal, he didn't but he was not organising his defence either. very poor goalkeeping

for the first goal, Gamboa needs to close king down, but he didn't so the last line of defence was the keeper and he flapped. decent strike but weak wrists from the keeper.

CG needs to be re-installed until jan, when a good keeper needs purchased. i'll give Gamboa time but he looks a Celtic Park player, away from home i'd go with lustig at RB.

McGregor is usefull when we are in full flow. but he doesn't cut the mustard with regard to controlling a game. i'd move rogic back to cm beside brown and play roberts in the am role.

kolo, tiernay, sinclair, dembele, griffiths and roberts when fully fit will will the league for us very comfortably. armstrong, rogic, siminovic and sviachenko need to be used effectivly.

but we are crying out for a GK and a CM/ AM, ideally i'd like to see us sign Costel Pantilimon a 6.8 ft GK with a big presence and Robert Snodgrass for the AM role.
