hi all, I hope i'm posting this in the right way as i'm new to the site.
I want to ask about the fine that has been levied against us, saints and dundalk for fans waving Palestinian flags.
As far as I can gather, football fans can fly the flag of any country they so desire. I understand that Palestine is not a country or a nation by the strict application of International law, but the Palestine Football Association does have a FIFA ranking and is therefore recognised by FIFA. Palestine also play international matches against the national teams of other countries, so can anyone enlighten me as to why our club and the others have been fined?
I have been a supporter of the Palestinian people before it became trendy and I have seen the Palestinian flag being flown at celtic park before, so why is it now frowned upon?

Totally agree fab1 a football stadium is for football nothing else(unless it's for the common wealth/mega bucks for board of coarse)

If this is true why has barcalona never been fined they fly the Catalonia flag of independence on ther stadium yet the Spanish do not recognise ther views, it is politics and Celtic rangers have been fuc"ed by it for years, don't it make you laugh that in turkey Italy Serbia and many more country's burn scarfs flags set flares. Have massive flags with hatred drawn all over them yet nothing happens we are a scape goat eufa

Just shows u how ridiculous. Uefa ar,18-000 fine for waving a flag in solidarity with an apressed people, Villarreal fined 12-000 for throwing bananas. @ opposition players, Good to no they have things in perspective.

Who cares about other clubs and we all know nada will ever happen to barca ,we are celtic , a football club,not a soap box I for 1 wish all the sH1t would stop ie Ireland Palestine race religion and any other nonsense for cryin out loud it's time to grow up people ,I'm not saying don't have your beliefs just keep them away from football
