I've heard Sheff Utd and Norwich have asked about Leigh Griffiths and were told £3.5m. As far as I know there's no deal but celtic are prepared to do business.

If you go back on this site where I posted last year after us being knocked out of europe, that Celtic's next European game will be with Davie Moyes as manager. The information was given to me from a member of Moyes's family who told me Davie doesn't have anything on his C. V and is coming to Celtic to win trophies. Although a wee bit sceptical I still put £20 on Moyes at 81 to be next manager.

BS VVD will go for double figures! He's far too good a player and its only incoming transfers that are in single figures(extremely low ones) but he knows how to sell 5m for hooper and over that for ki VVD will sell for wanyama figures!

VVD is a poor jason denayer. He was like a lost puppy in europe last season. Yes he strolled the SPL but I would stroll the SPL in that celtic side. Take 6.5 million and run a mile because I'm positive he's going to flop in England.

I doubt anything will happen till our cl fate is decided but if we don't qualify I reckon we will accept 6million for a player who won't want to stay and possibly up to 10 million to tempt us if we qualify for cl. If he stays for group stages he could leave in January for anything between 5-10 million depending on how we/he does I think

What i've heard is Steven Gerrard's agent has asked Celtic if they would be interested in Stevie G for next season, during the MLS closed season. Gerrard will not be joining another EPL club as he doesn't want to play against Liverpool. His agent has put feelers out to just a few clubs and Celtic are high on that list.

I won't for a second belittle Gerrard but if his agent is dipping his toe I don't see the board biting. Through his connection with liverpool he stayed in or around the first 11 well past the point of his use. His loyalty was dutifully repaid and some by HIS club even when he should of been moved on for a side wanting to crack the top 4 when he lost pace and struggled with form. I want to cut my own fingers off for saying he was more of a mascot near the end to lift the fans and side with his presence. Full credit to him if that is the right phrase for hanging up his boots mid season because he knew he didn't have enough to offer. Merchandise v club credibility could be a decision if that, but in all honesty why bother? Keane flew in and out of glasgow to train, wasnt committed (down to one typing finger now) never made a positive impact. Gerrard for talking sake may fancy a 4hr drive instead of a transatlantic flight to be close to his family. If there is such a thing in the celtic wage structure for ageing out of form highly paid midfielders with infrequent starts and apps then sorry lads enough of you pushed for it and now commons has it! (fingers gone and I've had the keyboard broken over my petulant skull. )
If Galaxy are paying for his glesgy outing and he wants to come as a professional, be close to his family, use our facilities, work with our youth and do a wee half hour now and again if needed then why not mon aboard but short of that then sorry pal.

1.) Give it a rest. Fed up reading posts from people having a go at the board. Sometimes its justified but this time I do think they were trying to do these transfers
2.) The board had all fecking summer to sort out these issues they knew we needed players especially strikers ( that can score actual goals ) this running about with 3 hours to go trying to sign players is nonsense and as for give the board a break you give us a break! We would probably be in champions league if we had done this before legia/Maribor games and we all know that
3.) Tam, Celtic doesn't have the financial clout, Celtic isn't playing in a popular top league and the climate isn't the best either . It's not unreasonable that we have to wait until the window is over to pick up players we hope will benefit us . This year well done Board we have come out stronger than we went into .

I was told this last year. Davie Moyes has always told his family if the opportunity arose, and was a good time for him he would love to be the Celtic manager. What I was told was Moyes is desperate to get silverware on his C. V and fancies a 2 or 3 year stint at Celtic to make it happen. Think it was November time I was told Celtic's next European match will be under the guidance of Davie Moyes.
