Just scrolled through Sly Spurts reading about the fixture against this new club that we play on saturday?

Talking about how Griffiths is a doubt? Went to Celtic website to see what was wrong with him, couldn't see anything, anyone know?

Think it was a tight hamstring that's why he was hooked against Aberdeen and pulled out the Scotland squad.

2.) 05 Sep 2016 17:43:20
Don't think there's any worries about him missing the game.

Is the game not on tele tomorrow? What is the crack with that? BT showing that mob over us? That completely makes sense NOT.

1.) 26 Aug 2016 16:10:03
Can't show Saturday 3pm games.

2.) 26 Aug 2016 16:14:24
3 oclocks are never on the telly mate.

3.) 26 Aug 2016 16:21:23
cause its 3pm kick off and your not allowed to show any games that have that kick off.

4.) 26 Aug 2016 16:36:08
Very rarely show celtic at home.

5.) 26 Aug 2016 18:44:21
They only have 4 league games a season.

6.) 26 Aug 2016 18:45:37
If BT were not pandering to The Rangers and wanted to show the Celtic game they would have changed the Kick -off time.

7.) 26 Aug 2016 19:27:21
Think Sutton wants a weekend off to reload his deila roasts
Bt have had Celtic on every week this season about time they played at 3pm on a Saturday as I think season ticket holders were given a raw deal last year with the amount of games switched for tv or Europa league
Don't have that problem this year though
Best place to watch the game is at Celtic park failing that you can stream it on the usual formats.

8.) 26 Aug 2016 16:54:11
I think anderson1888's point was how has such a big game not been made a 12.30pm saturday or sunday game for tv? Surely it is a more important match this weekend than a match featuring a newly promoted team versus a team who regularly fight relegation.

9.) 26 Aug 2016 20:11:25
Every game last season against the Dons was giving hype and exposure but now the other side are up all of a sudden its not desirable. Its actually pathetic how they don't show the game as its always a cracking game.

10.) 26 Aug 2016 21:24:47
Is the game on Celtic tv thoough?

18 Aug 2016 08:10:25
What a game to take my daughter to (her very first game) she was absolutely buzzing. All the singing was fantastic. A great performance by fans and players! v Hail Hail.

anderson1888

1.) 18 Aug 2016 09:58:18
yes the performance was excellent but its time for celtic to take a stand against the fans who seem intent in getting us fine by uefa once again they disreguarded the advice from the club about displaying palestine flags and it will cost our club dear. time to remove their season books and ban them.

2.) 18 Aug 2016 10:39:49
there was no advice by the club jinky!?
there was a point made by police scotland not to use the flags but at the end of the day a flag is a flag same as saltire union jack tri colour etc. wheres is the harm in it!? no offensive slogans on it!?
am i right in saying celtic park flew the palestine flag at some point!?

3.) 18 Aug 2016 12:48:04
I would have thought that maybe we should discuss the football paid and there certainly was plenty of that and ignore the flags . No point in flying flags if people don't discuss them . If we don't want flags displayed, don't comment and there is a chance giving time fans will get fed up. Discussing and condemning the flying of flage will only encourage those who want to fly them, to continue I M O.

4.) 18 Aug 2016 15:16:03
I can't help but wonder that as a support can we not demonstrate a more effective means of support to the Palestinian people like the protest outside Celtic Park last night? Did the waving of Palestinian flags inside the ground advance the cause of the Palestinian people one iota? For people to claim they didn't know the club would be put at risk by their actions last night is at best naïve and at worst cynical. Yes, we know UEFA and their cronies are happy to play politics when it suits them but our club entered this competition under their rules end of story. The actions of a very tiny minority of the support has the club "bang to rights" as a result and gave those bastards in the Scottish/ English media an opportunity to detract from what was a brave display from our beloved football team. I just think the approach needs to be better thought out if people are truly sincere about supporting the cause of an oppressed people that Palestinians are. I know that this might provoke some controversy and disagreement but so be it.

5.) 19 Aug 2016 11:30:50
If we look around the stadium, apart from that section I couldn't see many other Palestinian flags.

So a couple of hundred photocopied laminated flag means the Celtic support thought it right to demonstrate about the plight of a people at a football game?

As I said on an earlier post, by all means be politicised but choose the appropriate way.

The Green Brigade do not speak for Celtic fans. They speak for themselves.

Get out on the streets, demonstrate at Isreali embassies. Go over there and volunteer. Somebody further up made the valid point that under free speach we shoukd allow Nazis to be hailing hitler instead of the Tic too if free speach is the only guide.

We all know msm are waiting to jump on this shit. Protest injustice but don't use cp as the platform.

300 A4's, being waved, colour or not does not constitute the Celtic support. But that's how the media are playing it. If it was then there would have been thousands all around the ground. Regardless of the rights and wrongs 95% of the support did not agree that a Celtic game was the best way to show your political differences with Isreal.

I won't lie, I am absolutely gutted and appalled at how slow we have made moves in the market. I fully understand that BR has stated that he wants to assess and evaulate the squad, but it as clear as day what's needed. I hope for the life of me we start getting some signatures soon because this is unreal. Not a linked played in days bar that dutch striker!

anderson1888

1.) 14 Jul 2016 16:45:45
Does it matter who the press link us to?
They just make it up as they go along.

2.) 14 Jul 2016 17:05:54
Anderson

He already said at least 2 weeks ago that he wanted a centre half. Nothing has happened since. Absolute joke.

Need rid of a few midfielders before signing anyone there. Bids for Bitton and Johansen less than what we are hoping for but should have been taken to give BR a bit of space in the squad and a decent profit in total.

We have known for months we need someone to play left mid / wide left. This should be blatantly obvious.

I could go on but too depressing.

3.) 14 Jul 2016 18:15:21
We can expect Brendan to get most things right, but one thing he can't do is make a target player make up his mind to suit us . We can target a player, agree a price, agree terms but still the player can hold out to see who else is interested .

4.) 14 Jul 2016 20:37:53
Old Bhoy

You missed a step, you need to add the following;

PL finds a cheaper option and forces him on the sucker, I mean manager!

5.) 15 Jul 2016 09:15:37
All I am getting at is usually in the press, social media's there is players linked with us, some of which would excite us as fans, but plain and simple, so far this has been boring with no movement. I totally get that the media would link us to every tom dick and harry and it would materialize to sweet F all but to have something as a talking point would make this dismal a little bit more enduring.

Great music taste, I am a massive Beatles fan but I absolutely love Pink Floyd. Can't believe they never got a mention.

Instead of being against him and how he has played in the past which is nothing short of utter sh*te get behind the lad and give him a chance. I wanted rid of him when BR came in but obviously he sees something in him.

I can't believe what I witnessed last night. Janko was awful, Ambrose let's just not bother. Biton, god knows where he has went. Brown the magician of passing sideways, Griffiths on the right was confusingand then choosing to bring on Forrest over Roberts awful. I get the conditions may have been difficult e. g. heat and a plastic pitch. But we play on plastic pitches here. This is a team of 'professionals' losing to people who have daytime jobs. Unbelievable. Us as fans have invested in what PL and DD have done with BR. Time for them to invest in our club.

Second that island. Reading posts of how we are already finishing 4th in the CL and stupid crap like that. I am happy with our dealings in the market although I would have enjoyed seeing someone else sign but it isn't a big deal cause we have more than enough to win the league and compete in the CL imo.

A champions league finalist, a right back who has played at the world cup, a winger who once cost 8 million and a striker who was wanted by spurs and we get him for peanuts and a manager who has led our team into the CL for the first time in 3 years with a team that isn't even his. Some people can never be happy.

Yeah with Johanson being one taking off the payroll. Hard working? I'm not McGregors biggest fan but he works much harder.
