With defenders missing and Simunovic suspended I was thinking during the game we should get Ralston on for some game time. Similarly with EK being back up for Brown (the protector of the back 4) get Kouassi some time on the pitch. Loads of attacking midfield and forward options but things looking more limited at the back. Just my opinion and not a criticism.

Ralston may or may not be the plan but he was the only defender on the bench, so I don't think it would be giving anything away.
I missed the first 15 minutes and when I saw us ahead on night and so far ahead on the tie it was my first thought ie get Ralston involved in competitive game.

He was the only defender on the bench because Compper is injured.

It’s like Groundhog Day every single summer by the way! Trying to scrape through these qualifiers with a patched up defence yet again! No real experience going into our most important games of the season! It actually baffles me that the first thing Brendan didn’t do was buy an experienced solid centre half this summer! Really hope it doesn’t come back to bite us on the arse this year!

Message to Ed007, i'm fairly sure you have mentioned being from Hamilton or somewhere nearby so passing this on to you. i'm guessing the following can't be posted because could be considered political but the local action group www.facebok.com/HERAG2013 have managed to get an advert on the trackside LED advertising for todays game at Hamilton. It basically says no to the planned Whitehill Incinerator at the site of the old Craig Head School just off the EK Expressway. If anyone mentions or asks about it would you be good enough to let them know?

With the amount of players probably leaving in the summer as they enter last year of their contract and the loan players going back to their clubs there will be a big change in the playing staff and they may decide to keep him on just for some consistency in the playing squad.
Personally I think a clean break without him would be better and if he was awarded another contract it should be reduced terms or low basic with extra only for appearances.

I agree with Stengo, my wife is a nurse and getting paid as normal. I'm self employed and not - like many others, then there are those already layed off and those reliant on food banks.
