There's talk of Man Utd looking at Gordon as a back up keeper as Romero is leaving he's on a short list that mourinho is looking at.

Fingers crossed then😜.

We’re getting Hart when he leaves.

There's a rumour going about that we are interested in the Newcastle United defender Chancel Mbemba and are looking at making an offer of around £4 million what do we think.

We probably think it’s just another rumour. :)

There will be dozens rumoured probably more. I find it difficult to believe any of our targets are spoken about to the friend of a friend source. We will see soon enough and we can only hope that instead of a raft of projects we go for players we need now.

A good thing is that Gerrard is here. This will focus the minds of Rogers and Lawell. The comments from the Lying King will also help with the, oh donyou fecking think so, attitude.

Another couple of CL paydays and they can’t compete. That and going into it the group stage better placed to avoid getting our arses handed to us makes us even more at home in the domestic front.

I got my hopes up in January so will be keeping g a kid on my optimism. As always a threat from Rangers will provide added impetus. I find that distressing but it’s the way we are. Gerrard might improve Sevco, he will definitely improve us. Thanks Stevie and Dave.

There is no threat from The Rangers.

3.) 16 May 2018 11:26:10
There is always a threat from Rangers. To think otherwise breeds complacency. Too many times in my lifetime have we thought that and slipped.

I’ve said it before, Rangers won’t topple us, we will if we ever take our eye off the threat they can pose. We stalled this year. To deny that is to deny the facts. Another stall let’s them close the gap further. Why do that?

We lost and drew too many games. We got horsed in the CL. One win, not good enough, made worth with several hidings. We need to address this, if we do, they can’t get near us. Our history shows us clearly the price we face by the type of dismissive attitude toward them.

We have the boot on their throats. Let’s increase the pressure by tooling up and not dismissing them.

Magicpole is right. Rangers scored more goals than we did and the points difference should have been more. Since Christmas i think we only had 4 more points than they did so you can't say there is no threat. The reason they were closer was down to us. They didn't improve we drew too many games. We were not at our best. New players may make them better but we need to buy better players and keep on top of them. I think when it comes to the big games we will beat them but you can't say there is no threat.

This is my thoughts for the summer. I would sign Bain on a permanent deal, I would keep Edouard. I would aim to put ralston in the first team. Centre back needs to be a priority target. There's talk of Watford and Bournemouth looking at McGregor and we need to tie rogic down on a longer deal.

There's not a club on earth that McGregor would leave Celtic for nevermind that 2 nobodies. We are lucky to have him and lucky that he is a Celt through and through he's at CP for life.

Agree with Bain, Edouard and Rogic Tony, all 3 are a must for me.

Can I just say my thoughts go to the family of sir Alex and hope he pulls through.

In my opinion personally there's only 3 candidates for the Celtic job. David Moyes, Brendan Rodgers or Martin ONeill. We need experience to get back into the champions league. The squad needs a clear out. Carlton Cole, Kazim Richards, Cifcti, ambrose all need to go. We have far too many midfielders need to decide if Allan and Christie have futures, need a strong centre half as boyata was a waste of money, need a back up for Gordon as I don't think he was as good as last season and also need a striker to support griffiths, thoughts?

I don't think it's time to push CKR out yet, I think the big man has something about him. Remember if we get rid of everyone there'll be he-haw left and I doubt there will be adequate funds to provide two strikers.
Cash in on bitton, Johanson
Strip out the dead would where we can
Bring in: striker, right back, left winger
I agree we could do with more in an ideal world, but let's see what the new man brings to the table.
I reckon
Many will disagree but for me commons and forest must go.
Attitude and ability are not up to scratch and standards must be set.

2.) 03 May 2016 01:10:28
I'd happily see the back of Stokes, Scepovic, Ciftci, Cole, Forrest, Commons, Ambrose, Johansen, Blackett will be gone, Janko wants away, Mulgrew and Fisher are out of contract I believe? Lustig is past it and on 24k a week. I'd be happy to cash in on Biton too as he is too slow for Scottish football. That should raise a decent amount of cash for new players as well as what the board are willing to offer the new manager along with it.

3.) 03 May 2016 07:56:11
I believe it would be prudent for the Board to critically exam our scouting and recruiting regime, I. e. why have we recruited so many so called duds? Who recommended them? Who decided they were acceptable and would fit into our method of play? What is our upper limit regarding players v positions? etc, etc.
It is encumbant on the Manager/ Coach to dictate team tactics and method of play, was said Manager/ Coach involved in the critiqueing and recruiting process? Did potential recruits show promise during their trial period? It is accepted that in the best set up some duds will squeeze through but in recent times we appear to have mastered the process of seeking out and recruiting the ordinary, e. g., Cole, Cifti, etc.
OR IS IT THE BOARD THAT IS THE PROBLEM?
I seek the opinions of the better informed than I.

Personally I have 3 choices for the next Celtic manager it has to be either David Moyes, Brendan Rodgers or Martin ONeill. We need experience and need to get back into the champions league asap. Whoever the manager is has a massive job far too many midfielders, need to decide if Christie and Allan have a future, mulgrews out of contract, Ambrose needs to go aswell, ciftci and Cole need to go, we need a big strong centre half as boyata was a waste of money and Blackett hasn't kicked a ball, we also need a back up for Gordon and need a striker to support griffiths, the board needs to act now and get this appointment correct.
