Bit of a strange 1 this ed and this is no lie my girlfriends family are very good friends of the gardner family from Birmingham I think the older 1 plays for west brom it's the younger 1 Garry I'm on here to tell u about he signed for Nottingham forrest on loan from villa under Stuart pierce who has subsequently left and has spoke to his agent and asked if he could try get him to celtic now I don't know if that's this window or the summer don't even know if it's possible due to the 3 club rule or even if celtic are interested but he does want to come here his family are mainly Irish and has been up here for a few games and celtic r his second team just thought I would let u know watch this space

Ed don't know if this is worth putting up but Paul Carew is at cp I'm told by my friend he is an agent from London and I know people will be saying aye right but my mate is pr officer for the corporate hospitality at celtic he doesn't know who he is there on behalf of though, do u know anything?
{Ed007's Note - I was thinking of Stuart Armstrong but I can't find a list of players he, or his company represents, which is strange as he is registered with FIFA as an agent, I know that Armstrong didn't use an agent in his last round of contract negotiations.}

1.) Hope RD will now start offloading players that haven't cut it, I.e. Balde, Sicknote, Stokes, Forrest etc. we need new blood and youngsters who are hungry and ambitious enough to get into the first team.
Be at Celtic Park tomorrow - the new bhoys are in for a treat when they experience a packed stadium.
2.) GoldenBhoy88 clubs need to want these guys before we can offload them which may be a problem
3.) Ed a polish lad from lech Poznan who was meant to sign for Kiev but don't know if it done yet, seemingly we've made a late bid sorry mate his name too hard to pronounce, you heard anything

1.) Any option to buy ed? As these kids never get there chance at city!

2.) Was he registered last night or will he be our wild card signing for cl if selected?

3.) Cheers ed, let's hope these 2 guys are able to start on wed/sat and make an impact as it will only lead to more frustration if they sit on the bench more often than not. I'm not going to raise my hopes too high for a permanent signing for cl game though as were usually let down but maybe their just waiting for a little more reassurance from uefa tomorrow before springing a major signing we can but hope
4.) His contract ends next year so if things go well we wil be in a great position to sign him in for free or maybe we will just showcase him for the rest of europe john
5.) Is he that much of a talent ed? There is a lot of really talented youngsters down sout not getting a chance but if we are not buying the after an initial loan it's not good! Fair play if it's a player that will make a real difference a gnabry or januzai is this boy of that level?

8.) Why would you want an option to buy when his contract up. Wud be compensation only.
9.) Because I didn't know his contract was up obviously! Why ask such a stupidest question?
10.) It was a perfectly reasonable question to ask if we had an option to buy as I think he is under contract till 2016 not 2015.

A newspaper reporting that alkesander tonev has arrived in glasgow for talks over possible move (1 year loan view to a permanent move ) u hear about this ed or do u think it's just paper talk?

Absolutely disgusted with guidetti today it one thing saying things in the media about wanting to go elsewhere but we he did after the game is inexcusable all the players ( together ) done a lap of honour and he stayed well behind by himself sulking, I can understand he is annoyed at not getting the penalty but the game is over we have won the cup he should be out there celebrating or even thanking the fans who pay his wages with there hard earned cash! Now iv never not supported a player wearing the hoops but I hope he never pulls a celtic Jersey on again he is a petulant young man who will go through his career jumping from club to club

Tam1888 I agree with u 95% only that if the penalty taker is decided before the game well u might not like it but as my mum used to say " u can lump it " and too be honest guidetti hasn't shown that he will sign so why should he get to take anything but the wee man ( no pun lol ) didn't help himself by fluffin it but hey we are on a treble run now COME ON U BHOYS make it so we believe hail hail :) :) :)

Guidetti is overrated. Struggled at Burnley, was hopeless at Stoke, not any better than any striker we have at club. He had a good season in Dutch league, but if he can't find the net in scotland I doubt he will do much in Holland this time.
I hold my hands up and admit I wasn't keen on celtic signing Griffiths due to his behaviour off the field. But the bhoy deserves credit, he has got his head down, put in tremendous effort and fully deserves to be starting striker.

guidetti is starting to remind me of viduka with his attitude, I could see guidetti claming he only played at 70 % etc, prob get pelters here but i'd send him back after his loan and take the offer away, spend it on someone whos actually happy to sign for us,

I agree he won't be a loss when he goes bad apple good player but just a we boy spitting the dummy time for him to grow up watched the game again when I got back home noticed at the end of the game RD was looking at him when he went off the park at the end of the game instead of celebrating with the rest of us

Ed do u think Dundee United winning today means an end to Armstrong and gms coming this transfer window and if that's the case can u see any1 else coming in? It's really been a bad transfer window if we don't get anyone in and puts Peter lawwell statement ( we always want to come out a transfer window stronger than we went in it ) into question .now I know we don't have endless pit of money but surely that team needs freshened up! I think we need a cb in as a priority to bleed him in for next season as we could very likely lose vvd and denayer at end of season and we will be heading into a champions league qualifier with a new cb paring what do u think?
{Ed007's Note - The move to sign Armstrong and GMS will still go ahead and there could be some news about Commons signing a new 2-year deal where the 2nd year is a lot more performance related than the first year.
CFC have also been turned down in an attempt to sign Zakaria Bakkali from PSV. The Dutch side aren't keen to sell in this window and the player doesn't fancy it. PSV are hoping he will sign a new deal with them which will mean they receive a transfer fee in the summer.}
1.) I think Ronny fancies O'Connell, more so since he let Fraser go, who I thought had a big chance of making it.To be fair the boy has done well when he has came in.

Just thought I would say ed, this must be the quietest transfer window I can remember as far as we are concerned the rumours page has heehaw on it u got any news of comings and going even ones u think are not credible I need something to get excited about lol
{Ed007's Note - Every team seems to be quiet this window, it's very difficult to get a transfer sorted in 31 days and a lot of the work being done is in regards to deals for the summer. Hopefully after this weekend we'll see teams trying to push through some deals.}

I don't think things could get any worse lol honestly, where does this leave us now because apparently pukki is going to brondby balde of to portugal and fridjohnsson is off aswell! So it's stokes and griffiths as it stands to do is all season, u just could write this stuff.
Can't see this happening for 2 reasons 1- he is 29 not usually the age a club like our signs players at for a transfer fee 2- the transfer fee being quoted is €5m . I doubt celtic will pay that when there is no way we will be able to re sell him and get our money back .

Guidetti would want between 30-40 thousand a week at the end of this season because he is a free agent if we were to pay that he would be our top earner and put him in the wage bracket of the likes larsson, Sutton, Lennon etc! is he in that group??? Not a chance imo

Does anyone think that the pitch played a factor today I think that was a leveller for them absolutely shocking that a premier league team play football on a surface like that I've played on better amateur pitches and I know it's the same for both teams but celtic are all about passing along the deck and on a better surface ( celtic park ) I think we will take 3 or 4 of them imo . We now have 3 games against Utd if we win those 3 I think the treble is ours
I honestly can't beleive people are giving Craig Gordon grief! I think he has been our best player this season some of his saves in the group stages put us in the last 32. mistakes by keepers are always highlighted more than out field players cause it usually ends up in a goal but the amount of important saves he has made for us this season is amazing!
Is he a celtic fan?
Wat would Powell be on ed any idea?
