Kayal.hopefully mulgrew ambrose stokes to follow. pukki might get signed by brondby as doing ok for them. really need lb as tonight's game shown.

1.) Would take Armstrong in a second people on here will start to get bored of me saying it but think the lad a cracking talent I rate him higher than Gauld & Robertson honestly do. Big Mulgrew not having his best season but think he been unlucky way injures would keep him, we've needed a lb that can defend for years now like izzy going forward but defending let's be honest that's were a lot of opposition target us down the left, Kayal & Efe can go for me but we would need another cb in if this happens, in MY opinion it's a disgrace way the commons situation I don't believe for a second he asking for mega money, the amount a goals that lad scored from midfield, our player of the year & to me he been treated like rubbish. Delia wants to keep him but Liewell will sell him. Send wakaso, tonev and Berget back as well also by this time last year Pukki was taking pelters by myself included but maybe iam wrong here but I think Pukki had scored more goals for us at this point than Scepovic has, we need to be looking at new centre halfs regardless because Virgil be away in the summer hopefully not before, Deynar will want a loan to a epl club and Efe no good enough! Also Honestly think we missed the boat way wee Stevie May like we did way Russell. Stokes not a great fan but tbh think he been decent this season but wouldn't miss him always said if hooper decided to stay stokes would have been long gone I know he gets played out position a lot but when he up front still doesn't score enough for me. I don't mind the loan signings cause if it doesn't work then fair enough but wakaso just another fortune & camara for me not been impressed Europe suits him better will say that but spl he doesn't want a know, tonev & Berget no better than what we let go, Scepovic time to deliver & I know he not had much game time but he obviously not working hard enough. Tonev I would keep I think he is getting better each game Mulgrew starting to look a little better now but I would still punt him if a descent amount of money came in still a liability in my opinion Commons love the guy great player but sadly can't see him working in to RDs way of football we will Definitely need a centre half or two sadly Virgil will go love to see Anya play for us think he would fit in Bitton I would keep to

Agree I keep saying I would like Anya I got pelters in the Summer for saying that but he's quicker than Wakaso and a better player would like Diskerud too similar to Johanson would like Robertson too we do need to get targets for CB hopefully we sell Ambrose in summer. Do need a LB even if its just a loan as we have no cover really does anyone think Rogic should be given another chance Deilas way might suit him better? I've been critical of Tonev but he had his best game last night he needs to be more clinical though
4.) I think Rogic deserves a chance never mind a second chance because he never really got one under lennon but he plays the A.M or number 10 role so is he going to be able to displace johanson I don't know but we need a passer in there and he could be it.

Not want to sound harsh but another window goes by feeling disappointed, Cb was a must, just gave celtic another £200 yesterday for champs league tickets, along with kits for kids and season tickets.2/ 3 million cb wouldn't have put us under! I'll always be 100% behind team And BR, but not 100% behind board.
{Ed007's Note - We've brought 5 players in, we've had over 20 players leave on loan or permanently and the squad overall is stronger and better than last year. Did we concede a goal in Scotland last year with Boyata playing? And the best CB in the country outside Celtic came back after his loan at Kilmarnock. With Coetzee being our main CB target it looks like Rodgers first choice CB pairing was always going to be Simunovic and Boyata.
If we had brought in a CB people would have just fixating and moaning that we needed a 'keeper and we can't play PSG and Bayern with Gordon in goals.}

Ed, c'mon. I think we all understand that money is not a problem at the minute. Simunovic and Boyata (if they're both fit) MIGHT be a good enough partnership to get us third place in the group. Just think a little more could have been done. and MAYBE WOULD HAVE, had there been movement on VVD. Overall, personally very pleased with the window. Just not ecstatic.
{Ed007's Note - What I'm saying is I don't think Rodgers was looking for a CB to play with Simunovic, he sees him and Boyata as his first choice pairing in there, he has said Boyata's the best defender at the Club.}

So that's it, time to actually assess the window. Could we have done a bit more? Yes. But I think most football fans will feel like that, especially us lot. That said, I'm still pretty pleased. All I ask is that we come out of each window stronger, and to be fair, we have. Firstly, we haven't lost any members of this young squad that will get better as BR tries to develop and build a side. PR was my main target, and we got him. OK, on loan again, but there's chance for a permanent deal yet. Ntcham looks like a quality addition. We got a third choice striker in who fits the model. Personally, and I know I'm in a minority, I want to see Boyata and Jozo developed together so I am happy enough with the whole CB 'issue'. I think all I would have really wanted was a quality keeper, and somebody other than Hayes.

He should be kev you're right. Being picky, I would have went for a promising youngster over Hayes for domestic cover. Would probably prefer to see Miller get games there over him to be honest.

I think everybody is happy with the players we brought in and holding on to our players. That doesn't alter the fact that our weak link is our defence.
If Rogers thinks either Boyata or Shev are good enough then I'm afraid the majority of Celtic fans don't. I was dissapinted that Young Rivaldo is injured as I was genuinely excited by getting him.
We need to move on and hope the defence is strong enough to edge out the Belgians. Middle to front I have no doubt we can, it's the defence that worries me.

Morning ED, I think we've had a great window and I do get what your saying regarding the partnership of siminovic and boyata, I just hope boyata and svitchenko aren't to far away from being available to play. I just hope by the time the PSG game comes around we're not facing them with bitton at centre half. That's not me being critical of bitton but the guys not a natural centre half and its ok saying ajer is there, if the PSG game comes around and both svitchenko and boyata aren't fit I think Brendan would play bitton in there before ajer purely for experience and that could be a big mistake. I get that it seems the south African was his No 1 target but with that falling through, there must have been more centre Half's identiqfied? Again ED I'm not having a big st.
{Ed007's Note - Boyata will be fit to play next Friday night at Accies but whether he'll be risked on their plastic pitch is another question. I doubt Simunovic will play because of their plastic pitch. Next Friday Ajer will definitely start because of his experience playing on plastic at Kilmarnock with either Boyata or Bitton as his partner.}

For some reason, it seems it is going to take a long time for people to accept Brown vagain . Despite been one of our best players for many years some people can't get round to accepting that as usual Brown is our captain and will remain . I don't think that no matter how hard people try, I don't think they will deflect him from doing his job for Celtic S Brown has been IMO one of our best over recent yrs.

It's good for Celtic and especially for Scott Brown that YAYO doesn't have a say in team selection . S B had a difficult season last year with a number of injuries, I M O he is rediscovering his great form of other years, that was always appreciated by Scottish Managers and Celtic Managers .

Think board should be investing more in team, we have 40k season ticket holders?
We all buy at least a top from Celtic shop?
We buy extra tickets for cup/euro matches?

I am happy with transfer model with team, buying players develop and sell on. but think if we sell example wanyama for 12m think we could buy better prospects say go over the 2m transfer cap! Say 3, 4m prospects a la Porto/Basel. That's what's pissin me off as a genuine supporter. buy season ticket, merchandise.
Was at game today and players I thought done well were janko, griffiths, ROGIC,gms and Armstrong, honestly think ROGIC looks better than Briton on that position. Ciftci needs a goal then he won't stop scoring mark my words, think he is just trying too hard. I do like buying players from spl some good players here. Looking forward to a challenge this year hopefully from sheep, and Hearts

another good result and we played well first half controlling the game, Griffiths again looked sharp and must start in midweek. Biton still has to find the form of last season he gave the ball away a number of times today which allowed the opposition to break on us. Special praise for big Efe he was excellent today. Roll on Wednesday here's hoping we score a couple and keep a clean sheet
