Brendan quoted that eboue could b in the squad in the next 2 weeks.

1.) 23 Feb 2017 19:16:40
Hopefully this lad hits the ground running. If I remember correctly, in his first interview he said he was a lion on the park. I eagerly await the first tackle!

19 Feb 2017 11:24:04
Lazy journalism from the sunday mail this morning. Dembele apparently subject of a 30 million bid - absolute non story rehashed rubbish.

1.) 19 Feb 2017 21:55:51
Fake News. 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

2.) 19 Feb 2017 22:42:56
But it raises the question, if some club comes in and offers £40million pounds for moussa, well I say reject it, of moussa stays with us till the end of his contract, we have a better chance of doing well in the champions league, and in doing well we are guaranteed £20 plus millions every time, so if moussaka has three years left on his deal, they can start the bidding at sixty million upwards, I would rather keep him till the end of his contract and then let him walk away if he wants to.

3.) 20 Feb 2017 00:18:57
Have we ever had a week without at least one poster posting on here about Dembele leaving or a big bid comming in for him .
He knows most is nonsense but he might sense that, as we post continuously we don't want him.

4.) 20 Feb 2017 19:45:00
Fairly confident the big chap doesn't make these forums a priority daily visit, as entertaining as they are.

5.) 21 Feb 2017 13:15:18
We should be in no rush. His value will only increase. If he us worth £40 now, what will that be with another year in the CL? Not £30m that's for sure.

He is 20. Two more years then sold for £60m after he helps us show we are a force again. Don't be forced into selling. We don't need to and by resisting pushes the price higher. The sums paid for players with half his talent or potential show me he is worth a lot more.

Stand firm, put our team first, convince him another crack at the CL will move him forward even more and if need be tell him he's staying. He's our player. We might be as telling stone but we won't be walked over.

Has the boy signed yet HH

1.) 27 Jan 2017 12:50:29
What boy you talking about?

2.) 27 Jan 2017 13:20:38
Onyekuru was supposed to sign today according to some

3.) 27 Jan 2017 17:06:59
@mallythetally, heard Onyerkuru was told by the Belgian club "Onyerbike to Russia" lol

4.) 27 Jan 2017 18:18:24
Could be happening tonight or tomo

5.) 27 Jan 2017 18:35:33
Haha herd that tim cska but don't think he fancies it

6.) 27 Jan 2017 19:41:34
transfer saga involving the Nigerian Henry Onyekuru looks to be coming to a close tonight, with the likelihood of the player ending up at Celtic Park Thank u @Mallytheswally. HH🤣🤣🍀🍀

7.) 27 Jan 2017 20:48:39
Cheers HH hope your right and bhoys a success, swally tomorrow night btw

8.) 29 Jan 2017 12:43:58
Still waiting. Me starting to think this rumour might not be actually credible. Here's hoping though. Boy looks a talent.

04 Jan 2017 11:42:08
Eboue had arrived in Glasgow to finalise move.

1.) 04 Jan 2017 12:07:22
Does anybody know if the boy can speak English?

2.) 04 Jan 2017 16:16:46
most africans can, we can't here in deepest darkest clydebank but.

31 Oct 2016 13:20:52
Reports celtic looking to build 4 star hotel where ticket office stands anybody know any more.

1.) 31 Oct 2016 17:54:29
MTT I heard this years ago, but the issue was the old Building was a problem as it was listed. That would just take CP into a different dimension.
Just think Who would not want to stay in the No7 room . Caesar Lounge. Jock`s bar and Jinky`s Corner

Great idea.

2.) 31 Oct 2016 21:31:39
It was in one of today's papers as if it's a new venture apparently trying to get planning permission also a new screen,

3.) 31 Oct 2016 23:09:24
That big old hospital in the grounds of lennoxtown should have been used exactly for that reason what a 5 star complex it would have made it would have been up there with a skibo castle or a Mar hall imo but there would have been road access issues but went to a developer anyway when the building was really to far gone IMO

But could have been the best hotel in Strathclyde and with the training complex there would have been some money earner (y)

4.) 01 Nov 2016 06:52:23
Woulda been a great idea jamiebhoy! But as you said the road access would have been the problem it's bad enough just now going to the training ground! Is there any plans for casinos or hovering pitches.

5.) 01 Nov 2016 17:30:31
Jamiebhoy, I prefer for Celtic to continue concentrating on what they do best, building and developing their football club .
I remember in 2004/ 5 at the height of the house inflation people posting on different forums that our board was stupid with the financial clout Celtic had should have borrowed tens of billions and built houses and hotels initially in Glasgow and then elsewhere. Thank God our Board was either too lazy or too smart to go down that road or the club could be gone by now .
It's easy to advise on the spending of other people's money.

Lennoxtown covered in snow bhoys training inside.

09 Feb 2017 13:13:21
Who'd have thunk it wee Roger Mitchell the ex spl supremo a self confesed celtic fan, in the rags today waxing lyrical about our Peter saying he's the best chief executive in Europe and after the figures the other day who can argue HH.

1.) 09 Feb 2017 16:11:59
I'm sure he does well to meet his targets set out for him but it could be argued he hasn't protected Fans and Shareholders interests with respect to resolution 12.

2.) 09 Feb 2017 16:53:19
He's been a grand financier, broker, negotiator and arbitrator. He's somebody I'm really comfortable with at the thought of him being our rep in any boardroom, fighting our corner. However from a football perspective, he hasn't had us looking as good as we could have been for several seasons up until the recent rocket up the rear. Now we have a proper manager in place, PL can stick to what he does best. Not football, business.

3.) 09 Feb 2017 17:02:16
Just want to add I'm not trying to be negative and from speaking with Friends and Family not all fans are too bothered by things like resolution 12, not as much as me anyway. I'm just reluctant to celebrate things that come from the people who run/ ran the game, I'm sure Lawwell isn't compromised in any way but remember it wasn't too long back Scottish football had the world's best administrator.

4.) 09 Feb 2017 17:23:47
I'd accept he does a good job but you could argue that his penny pinching has cost us serious money . Employing Ronnie as a cheap project cost us massively in Europe. We only have to look at the turnover we have just had to see the difference it made. I know we won two league titles under him but let's be realistic to say that probably most of the managers in the league would have won the league if they were in charge of us the past couple of seasons. If we had pushed the boat out more the previous seasons and qualified our turnover would be massive over the last few years.

5.) 09 Feb 2017 19:01:56
Ronnie wasn't took on as a cheap project, Ronnie was employed because he was a young forward looking, modern, innovative, inspiring, successful manager, but as it turned out, he couldn't manage at all. the Celtic board had the right idea, but were let down by Ronnie's ineptitude.

6.) 09 Feb 2017 22:32:06
I agree with you aindoh we took a gamble with RD and the intentions were in the right place.

But as many have pointed out would BR be so successful at celtic if it wasn't for the previous gaffer's groundwork.

7.) 09 Feb 2017 22:06:35
I agree, but Ronnie was there when a few of our best players now were signed. But, we have always had a tendency to be scared of really having a go.

Hopefully we get off our knees and start moving in a direction that sees teams truthfully fear us, as opposed to the pat on the head shite they all troll out.

I think we have and will.

8.) 09 Feb 2017 22:10:07
Ronnie was an experiment they knew they would still win the league and a cup but what backfired was CL the fact they had malmo beat at PH and went on to blow it was bad management imo they were well capable of getting there.

9.) 09 Feb 2017 23:02:58
Ronnie was the cheap option. He was a gamble that scraped bye by winning the league. He wouldn't have gotten near the job if sevco were in the league. He was a good guy who couldn't turn the job down but he was a mediocre manager at best.

Mr Lawwell gave him the gig as he knew even John Barnes would've won us the league then so gamble paid off. Just. Ok, I ripped it a bit with the John Barnes bit but you get my point!

10.) 10 Feb 2017 11:10:57
Rodgers has came out and said we should strengthen from a position of dominance so that will do for me. As long as we see continuous improvement in the team.

11.) 10 Feb 2017 11:47:29
marco that's definitely the key. Strengthen from a position of dominance, move so far ahead of the competition that it takes them a lifetime to catch up. HH.

07 Feb 2017 20:02:27
See young luke donnelly off to morton great timing let's wish him luck.

02 Feb 2017 13:55:53
Anybody else think Jurgen the messiah Klopp is getting more and more embarrassing with his touchline antics but as long as he gives the media the smile everything's fine

1.) 02 Feb 2017 16:11:45
I think he's a great coach. The league cup aside he isn't in a bad position really. He could do with a top drawer centre half and perhaps not trying to play at 100mph all the time. As for the man, I find him entertaining to be honest. Although I don't know what incident you're referring to.

2.) 02 Feb 2017 16:30:36
Jim they're out the fa cup and the league cup and u wouldn't put money on them winning the league, the game against Chelsea he's flipping out at the 4th official and he's had previous

3.) 02 Feb 2017 15:11:39
I thought it was class last week when Brendan defended klopps recent record! Total class act of a guy honestly! All the pelters he's took from ex Liverpool players and the media in general down there and he still acts with total dignity! Couldn't wish for a better guy to manage our club by the way HH

4.) 02 Feb 2017 16:44:08
Aye my bad, I even sseen the Wolves game 😶

Well there are other managers who aren't top of the league. I didn't have him down as winning the league in his first season so wouldn't criticise him there. Ok he could still have them in the cups but cup football can be like that just by it's nature. We've been knocked out by some poor sides over the years. I can't really condole remonstrating with officials but again, I'm struggling to really think of a top manager who hasn't off the top of my head (Rodgers, lol? ) .

5.) 02 Feb 2017 16:45:35
Agree with that BR class act

6.) 02 Feb 2017 17:03:29
BR got pelters for nearly winning the league but Klopp gets away with it I don't get it, surely the Liverpool fans were expecting a trophy this year and making a fist of the league Chelsea are a stick on and even spurs sitting second

7.) 02 Feb 2017 18:13:52
Well he didn't get pelters off me. I'll probably just leave this for a Liverpool fan, I have no idea if they were expecting a trophy this year. I'd back Klopp in time to deliver silverware. It's pretty tight amongst the chasing pack.

8.) 02 Feb 2017 20:00:41
We finally have a manager befitting our great club who acts with class and dignity and who is only up here because it's Celtic. Everything I've seen and heard from the man is a breath of fresh air and he also happens to be a very good football coach.

He has and will make mistakes again but I think we all should savour the time he is here, there is a totally different feel at games now and most of it is down to him

9.) 02 Feb 2017 21:52:38
Klopps a bit wild but ain't no denying he's a great manager. Forget winnin it no1 thought Liverpool would be anywhere near it this year. N what he done at dortmund was not too shabby. But he ain't brendan HH

10.) 03 Feb 2017 02:25:58
I like Klopp as a person. Seems very approachable n friendly. However anyone remember his last season or so at Dortmund? Nearly relegated. I am biased. can't stand Liverpool! HH.

11.) 03 Feb 2017 09:41:48
Don't know why we all seem to be fascinated with how Klopp and Liverpool are doing it takes time to build a good team will prob get shot down for this but RD laid some good foundations for BR to build on!

12.) 03 Feb 2017 10:24:42
I obviously think Brendan is a better manager than Ronny but I thought Ronny showed real class and dignity when dealing with severe provocation from msm . On an entirely different subject any idea how old bhoy ( Chris) is getting on ed?

13.) 03 Feb 2017 10:25:18
Why would they not be near it, al bet most Liverpool fans expected them to be close, the fact they spent a few quid and as u say he's supposed to be a great manager. and at this point it looks like another barren season

31 Jan 2017 11:15:10
Dembele in London for a knee scan does anybody else think we're a bit light up top

1.) 31 Jan 2017 12:02:01
We are a bit light. It's unfortunate, but at the same time this is where players like Aitchison should get the nod. Did they have to send Moussa to London today though lol, got my brain scrambled.
