Well done lubo Forrest has more freedom with a real left winger in the team doesn't need to pass back also I'd keep it like it is and give Roberts the number 10 role let him loose hh.

MRgreen

1.) 10 Aug 2016 22:57:57
Think the number 10 role should be rogics from now on.
With the amount of games we hope to play this year there will be enough to fit Roberts sinclaire and forrest in.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 22:59:03
Instead of rogic?

. rogic
Sinclair Roberts
. dembele Griffiths

Is the way to go imo .

Gota say br must be some kinda guy brown playing out a his skin Forrest scores what's happening to these trouble makers what's next? Commons coming back better than ever? O and s Johansson on the bench makes us wonder who the real clinical ones were in br I trust hh lads were back COYBIG.

what a load of pish we all know Forrest and commons downed tools last season and Scott brown admitted he was playing with an injury won't be long before Forrest pulls a hamstring again and will be out drinking and eating fish suppers on the weekend instead of playing.

2.) 08 Aug 2016 01:16:04
I agree to some extent big d. Till these 2 or promised three come in I have no problem with ANY of the current squad raising their game. We need it so there's no f***in point giving pelters when we are going in the right direction. I get what your saying but i'm putting it on the back burner for now. If we don't make any decent moves for players by the time the window shuts because "we have enough' attitude then I'd be with you 100%
I'll add I had the fear of death pass over my soul when kt was waving at the bench today with his good arm. I honesty thought he had dislocated his shoulder. My only post match thought's were they must of sent a signal to pop it back in by himself! The wee guy is granite. It would of taken a fair bit of pain for him to wave to be subbed, he managed it and played on when other players wouldn't of stood back up. I can't express in words how grateful I am to have him in the team. He is a standout every time we walk out. Thought LG was a bit greedy as well till his cracking run and assist. Nothing is as it seems the now but it feels better so far.

3.) 08 Aug 2016 06:16:03
Maybe the main "trouble" was, Ronnie, praise him, praise him.

4.) 08 Aug 2016 09:46:32
Players will sometimes behave like school kids, especially if they sense weakness or leniency, with laziness, lack of discipline and dropping of standards becomes a very bad habit.
There was a real lack of respect and professionalism from some of this squad last season or two and personally, I would root them out.

5.) 08 Aug 2016 10:15:08
Well fellow tims. I watched the game yesterday like all of yas. I don't know if you will agree but I have been having real excitement coming accross me watching our bhoys, something which has been missing for a long long time. My heart still goes in my mouth when crosses come in, hopefully that will ease. I didn't hear any of the post match comments but after reading one of the posts, i expected that of neilson, he never talks sense. The penalty reminded me of the penalty which the manky mob was awarded against us, in which whitikar was involved in. Shambolic decision. Imo hearts players kicked at anything above grass height. Brown, toure, kt and o'connell were my standouts today. It was like the old broonie. Toure is bringing loads of experience and organisation, which as been sadly lacking at the back. Forrest did well but I am still not convinced he is the answer. I think o'connell will save us loads of money. Which is music to pl ears lol. Still prefer Armstrong in the middle of midfield. In saying all that. Hearts will beat the real darkside.

MRgreen big d has pointed out brown wasn't 1 of the 3 that was commons Forrest n mulgrew. Brown played while injured n not fit, as for Forrest Rd had him fitter than he had been n injury free n he had various good games in the last 2 seasons, he mentioned that in his interview after the game, but he has never managed 2 find a consistent run of good form. I hope br can get him to that as I only want the best 4 Celtic whoever plays. Commons will be punted, he doesn't fit the style of play br wants, high press and quick passing and movement, so regardless of off field issues he needs moved on.
As for Johansen, he was only back from injury last week so it might take a few games b4 he starts more regularly, as I can c McGregor dropping 2 the bench, he's s good player n has some good touches, passes n can score just don't know if he's in the game enough at times.
Scott brown also played well under Rd, he just had persistent injuries, specially the hip, that at times hindered him, was only latter part of last season his form dropped.

7.) 08 Aug 2016 21:52:00
U were born in 56. I agree that there were some last season who showed a lack of respect and professionalism . I think they should have been sent packing over the last year or two. It isn't up to u or me to personally get rid of them .
I think B R should have had his cards marked for him re them and I think he has inherited the squad and it's his responsibility to keep those he wants and to move on those he doesn't want.

If that's a Braveheart reference, fair play.

{Ed007's Note - I edited a bit at the end mentioning a Wallace so you might be right, I've never seen the film.}

2.) 07 Aug 2016 04:08:00
Was it to do with him being a grass?

{Ed007's Note - No lol I think it was another Wallace.}

3.) 07 Aug 2016 04:18:18
Had you down as a right film buff Ed. As a picture and it's historical background it's lacking, but worth a watch still.

{Ed007's Note - I am a bit of a film buff but I just thought the Tartan Army embarras the country enough without making a film about their ancestors.}

4.) 07 Aug 2016 05:03:40
Wit ed u serious. It's the only film that makes me a proud.

{Ed007's Note - Why, who did you play in it?}

5.) 07 Aug 2016 10:37:35
always makes me cry when i watch braveheart. mel gibsons scots accent brings tears to my eyes.

I have to admit I was surprised when I saw he had won on the cards. It must have been very accomplished performance to win by such a big margin on foreign soil.

2.) 31 Jul 2016 19:47:46
Maybe he got the Orange and Masonic vote?

30 Jul 2016 23:36:55
Just watched my old Paul mcstay video after many years and my God what a player how much would he be worth today wish he was in our team now but sure we can dream eh like wee jinky rip and king henke hh.

Players like that are once in a lifetime, quality and loyalty combined are a novelty these days.

2.) 31 Jul 2016 00:46:34
was away in ireland last week past, couldn't reply to any posts, but wasnt surprised by the usual critiscm of Scott Allan, but can anyone explain to me how Celtic as a team lacking creativity in the midfield with Biton playing cannot be better with Allan playing in Bittons position, can someone explain what Bitton brings to the team, does he chase back?, maybe Oldbhoy, sage of absolutely that is wrong with modern Celtic teams, or Ed007,who critiscised LGs signimg, can you explain in what way Bitton is better?, apart from saying, a la Tommy Cooper, that he is taller.

{Ed007's Note - Nir Bitton is different from LG because he's not been caught being racist multiple times, he's never been plastered over the papers for being a deadbeat dad or assaulting a school kid at an amusement park, will I go on?. That's why i criticised the Griffiths signing and if it wasn't for RD his Celtic career would have been over 18 months ago. I've had nothing but praise for LG turning things round but I still think he will struggle if we reach the CL.
Oh and Bitton's a midfielder and LG's a striker so God knows how you can compare them, it's liks moaning that KT doesn't score enough goals. Or if you're thinking like that why wasn't Scott Allan brought in to help with the defensive crisis?}

3.) 31 Jul 2016 01:23:37
Sorry Ed you seem to have misconstued, or misunderstood my guestion, I was asking what Biton brings in creativity to a Celtic team, or is he in the team to chase back?, and my critiscm of you was you is that you were gung ho against LG, untill he did at Celtic, what he had been doing at previous clubs, ie scoring goals, are you still so interested in his personal life now?, or is that all swept under the carpet because he is doing well, and why don't you come out and admit it, the only thing scott Allan has done in your eyes, is that he once supported the old Rangers.

{Ed007's Note - Away and sober up son.}

4.) 31 Jul 2016 01:29:17
On a second reading, I think we are talking at cross purposes.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not having you saying the only reason I don't rate Allan is because he was a Rangers supporter. You can't argue against what I say so you resort to that? That's like accusing a Tim of being a Zombie because they say something unpopular, it's a last resort.
When TRIFC were meant to be signing there were plenty of Celtic fans including me giving it the 'he's shite and has one good season in the Championship' - I've stuck with that. Scott Allan was signed for Peter Lawwell's shits and giggles.}

5.) 31 Jul 2016 06:38:16
Aindoh I get why you question Biton as he and Brown together slow our attacking threat. However must say when Biton came on in the Astana game he completely changed game and provided real balance in midfield allowing us to look threatning and ultimately score. He also used his physical strength which I honestly cannot remember him ever doing. If he can offer this more then he gets my vote. If Allen was showing something then he would play. RD and BR both felt same it would appear. Would you really be happy with him being your talisman? He isn't good enough and was bought for wrong reasons. He just isn't good enough it appears. Better proven players have experienced this and never made it at Celtic. Imo rogic, henderson, christie are all better. As for Biton he has had 3 managers now each one asking him to play a specific way, and they all pick him to play. How about we all forget our football manager/ fifa experience and simply get behind the mnager and players. We seem to be constantly criticising and highlighting negative aspects, by this i am not refering to yourself but a section of our so support who constantly just whinge. The season hasn't even started, transfer window hasn't closed, so let's see. The others factors we don't see, hear or experience first hand unlike our managers giving them insight. BR wasnt my first choice. I see changes all over the team which will make us better. Its simply time to get behind them as it won't be plain sailing and we will slip up occasionally. RD was hounded out, let's not allow the same conditions to allow similar division and circumstances. The Celtic supporters I know and respect are faithful through and through, and stronger together. We and I include me seem to be affected by the constant bombardment of negative Celtic narrative served up daily in the scottish tabloid, its difficult not to be, even when you think your not as we still consider the rubbish they print. This will step up a few notches this season so we need to stick together even more. Celtic are treated by the press in a similar vein to Corbyn. Regardless we are all Celtic supporters. Hail hail.

6.) 31 Jul 2016 10:09:29
You seriously must be at the wind up but going by your posts in the past u clearly believe the nonsense u post. I'm surprised you haven't blamed Rd for the Barcelona defeat yesterday or for Scott Allan's lack of game time under br either, that'll be the spectre of Rd stopping the Messiah from playing and conquering the world, he's not the Messiah he's just a very naughty boy haha.
Anyway as 4 the nonsense u tried 2 use to have a dig at ed007, biton is far better than Scott Allan and brings more to the team, as he has proved at various times since signing 4 Celtic. As for wee Griff, if it wasn't 4 Rd he never would have knuckled down and would have been gone by now, does that mean Rd should get praise? probably not in your world but he does in anyone's world who can actually see what's going on.
Scott Allan is not good enough for Celtic and going by the little he has done when played he never will, oh wait ed007 will I b struck down by lightning for criticising the holy 1? Better stay indoors today just in case.
Agree with kwaj, when biton came on he kept position well and we seemed steadier, I like him as a player and if he can get back to the form he is capable of then he's a hell of a player.

7.) 31 Jul 2016 10:32:01
Aindoh NOBODY is saying biton is a great player so not sure what your point is between him and Scott Allen.
Weirdly enough 2 managers have chosen biton over Allen as they tend to choose the best available players and the majority of fans don't rate either of them that highly but if push comes to shove I'd take biton.

What is it you think Allen will bring to the team that 2 managers are missing?

I heard man u looking for new midfielder perhaps they are unaware Allen is available.

8.) 31 Jul 2016 12:01:01
Ed I don't know if u remember but I championed LG early on in his celtic career. I think he would do well for us in CL IF we get there and IF we get that creative player we crave.
I agree he might struggle with the midfield we have just now but just get the ball to him within striking distance and he hits the target more times than most.
I hear a lot of people saying he would struggle in CL, a tad unfair IMHO as all the squad would struggle not just him but he would be our best asset in it.
I think he is our best goalscorer/ striker since Henrik.

9.) 31 Jul 2016 19:54:42
AIndoh, forgive me but I always thought you were Irish, i am sure you have posted that, if that is the case, I stopped reading your post when you said you were away in Ireland . If u don't know to say I was home in Ireland . I cannot expect any sense in the rest of the post .

If u are not Irish, I apologise.

10.) 31 Jul 2016 01:45:53
There's one thing that's conveniently forgot about Biton, his arm around mass murderer Netanyahu. Sorry ed 007 much as I agree with you on plenty.

The hypocritical sh@te on here about Stokes and his so called allegiance to some up in the air freedom fighters, and the same cocks giving Biton Mom is nauseous.

{Ed007's Note - I don't really hold that against Biton, remember we had a Pope that that was in the Hitler Youth - what choice did he have? It was a legal requirement in Germany and do you not think there would have been a million pictures of Hitler with the young Ratzinger if they knew he would one day be Pope?
You know how these thing work, TTTS, if you had been born in Israel you would have a different outlook and you'd have friends and family in the army.
It's amazing what football players are forced into by maniacal blood thirsty political leaders.
