Both have been out on loan a lot and only bamford has a semi decent scoring record but has done hee haw the past 2 seasons.

Can't see us getting Chalobah permanent and don't know too much about Bamford but if we were to get Chalobah permanent and Toure and Sinclair, we would be a goalie and a striker short of the best window in this Century.

Am I wrong in thinking Brendan loaned him out a few times while at Liverpool? Hardly makes me think he'd be interested in him now! Seen him play a few times but never really stood out to be honest! Don't know if I believe we're after him. think the papers are going through a list of Liverpool fringe players and are hoping one of them is actually true!

Hi ED have you heard anything about this guy Wisdom and his deal to join Celtic? All I know is that he has been on loan with a side who went down this season and he only played 13 times so am not sure that bowds well what's your thoughts on this one?

I agree with what your saying we have high expectations for this new season ahead new manager and his own team to back him but at the moment being linked with players of old young wae no much knowledge of. We will back all the new bhoys that may come in but it is more encouraging when you do know good things about the new bhoys coming in but in one shining thought I keep is I knew nothing about Lubo need I say more.

Hearing that we are waiting to see what happens against Astana before committing to any more signings, if true, and may be BS, then the club are taking the piss. bring in top drawer manager, fans buy season books, then this pish.

could be right Kev but i'm not buying into it just yet, there's no way imo that BR wouldve took the job without a significant budget to make his mark on the team, he's brought in 2 players that has advanced the squad for next to nothing, and we don't know wots going on behind the scenes ( were really good at that) . too many supporters jumping on bandwagons from the last few seasons, ( i remember it from MON days) , we've got till end of aug to get players in and ill make my judgement then, but i do think we will see 1 or 2 in the next few wks.

I was patient, but I'd like to see a couple more in over the next few days. I was always confident of the first two CL qualification rounds, I'm not counting any chickens but I still am. It was always the play-off that would be tricky for me. We've gotten the experienced CB I was asking for, but I'd like to see a LAM and a GK in and settled before that tie. If we qualify, then a couple 'marquee' players as a cherry on top.

Still think we need a centre mid that's better than what we've got. We have good players in that position but they are all inconsistent.

Nothings really changed apart from a new manager. As long as PL and JP are still involved and likes of @stevie spouting nonsense, nothing is going to change. I think most people predicted a big name for new manager to gets bums on seats but its no use unless we have a clear out and new faces are brought in we are not going to progress.
Watched the games we have played recently and i stand by opinion of Dembele. don't rate him one bit. Likes of stevie and marco1888 can try slate me all they want, but he played an absolute howler against a team of plumbers/ police/ joiners and looked out his depth aganist Astana. Yes he is still young but if he was the class to take us to next level he would of played better in these games CONSIDERING HE PLAYED 46 GAMES IN CHAMPIONSHIP LAST SEASON, in a higher standard of league.
Hope i'm wrong but can't see it.

Tricky one that one LM67. I'd like to see a proper CDM in there, although Brown has been good doing that role so far by himself - but when I know the player Brown, Bitton, and Johansen can be, whilst wanting to see Henderson and Ajer developed, it's only realistic for me, if we move one of those players on.

DN30 I saw Dembele play several games in the championship last season. He is no world beater but he is decent, not wonderful but decent. Celtic would not win the championship. Putting my tin hat on now but it's a fact. Maybe 4 players at Celtic would get regular football at one of the top 6 championship teams. Now Dembele for what ever reason has not started yet but he can play. The other point is PL. He has done more to hinder Celtic than improve it. He has an easy job. Don't speculate to get CL football, sell the best players and make sure we make a small profit or break even but in doing that we are going backwards. he does not care as he will walk off to the sunset after trouser img £1mill every year. he should have gone with RD.

But Rayman that's not true. He has played 54 games 15 goals for Fulham. There is no excuse here that is reasonable. He has more than enough experience to play better aganist likes of Lincoln Imps and Astana. Teams in ECL are of a far superior standard.

Would still be a good signing, lost his way a bit, BR could get him firing again. It's all a bit quiet though, was expecting one or two in for the start of pre season which I think is on Monday 20th.
