Please no. I sometimes go into the WH Banter page. Virtually to a man and woman, they all want Moyes out. They say the football under Moyes is all defensive minded and horrible to watch. We shouldn't be changing manager at the business end of the season.

I think the bigger signings will come as the 'housekeeping' gets underway with the current squad. We have made a couple of signings that were probably targeted last season and extending contracts of important players (hopefully CCV among them) . Then I would hope, a clear-out of the excess and deadwood to make way for more quality?

If we get reider and tete that would add to maeda, Haksabanovic and abada, can't see James or mikey getting a sniff this season, so 5 wide men, with the South Korean that's 6, wo can't see reider and tete both joining.
Holding midfielder, cb and keeper are key areas.
Any of the u21s might get a break through this season? Never seen many of their games.

Ed I believe the club had high hopes the young boy Dawson would break into the first squad this season until his really bad injury, so I guess they'll be looking else where now to give the boy time to recover and get some game time again.

It’s quiet. Too quiet. Circle the wagons. They’re a coming. Hopefully soon, or sooner. The fact there is no real info suggests we are ready to strike. All the names mentioned are conjecture and guessing. I hope we get the Swiss lad, but I won’t be holding my breath. If he’s as good as they say, coming to the SPFL doesn’t seem plausible. Hopefully he sees the CL as a way to put himself in a shop window full of riches. It’s one thing wanting a different level player, magic, but will they come here? I hope so.

With NL confirming a deal has been agreed with Southampton am really surprised forster is stalling.

The talk was that he didn't want a loan with an option to buy he wanted the security of a permanent deal. If that's the case and we had a fee agreed for the end of the loan deal then surely we can just pay it now instead of next year.

I think he was wanting a permanent deal and not a loan one. There’s talk of Crystal Palace making a £25 million bid for eduouard I don’t think he would go there. We need 2 goalkeepers a centre half and a right winger to challenge Forrest.

Understandable on Forsters behalf. He has around £2M contract with Southampton over the next 2 years. I doubt the biggest hoops fan in the world would write off £60k per week to be part of 10 in a row.
My guess is he will want a significant amount of that paid off in order to move. If Southampton agreed the loan deal it shows he's not going to get a chance down there. I think this one could drag on for a while hopefully we don't let other targets slip through the net in the meantime.

Understand it from Fraser's point of view with wanting a secure contract but honestly can't see a deal being completed unless celtic pay over the odds.
Apparently he's on 90k a week with Southampton and if he came to us on a permanent deal the most we would likely be able to offer at a push would be 45k a week.
Hopefully no one else comes in for him and we can get a deal done but with time going on I can't see us playing the waiting game.

Forster has every right to look after himself. Not believing Celtic agreed terms with Southampton without asking Forster if he wanted to return. He's went back on his word, would forget about him and move on. No one is bigger than Celtic.

Reports in Norway saying there is no interest at the moment from Celtic for meling.
I think it's more likely Taylor Celtic will go for. very highly rated knows the league so could go straight in to the starting 11.

Because Taylor isn't a big name many fans are saying he's Tom Kite. He has been excellent for Killie and I think a move to a bigger club would bring him on leaps and bounds. He's young, he's a strong player and I have no doubt he'd love the move to Paradise. I asked the question before: would KT have been as good a player as he was if he had been playing for any other SPL side? HH.

Well lots of people are raving about him as the next Messiah. I've no doubt he's a good player, all I'm saying is people shouldn't write off Taylor because he's from the SPL. HH.

Think a lot are raving about him because we've actually seen him and he stood out like a sore thumb.
He also has plenty experience of winning titles playing internationals and playing in Europe. He's 1st ready.
Taylor is definitely a good player as well with experience in Scotland but will he be good enough to walk straight in to our team?
I don't know. He could be a star or he could need a few years like Christie did.
But end if the day every signing a gamble.

I've seen Meling a fair bit both in the Norwegian league and for the national side, he would be brilliant for us. He's not the biggest of lads though.
With Rosenborg still potentially able to qualify for CL themselves, I doubt them letting him go. they don't really have any good backups in their squad either, and haven't heard any rumours about them linked with any decent defenders.

Watching the Liverpool game.
I wasn't sure about the keeper but I have to say he looks decent. Probably played his way to a PL club.
Also the number 2 for SP looks tidy.

I’ve also seen him recently and he’s a good keeper.
Although I’ve seen loads of negative reports about him on here.
But
It’s pie in the sky about Celtic signing the Irishman.
The only chance Celtic could afford Kellecher was if he only had one year left on his contract but he has 2 years left.
Notts Forest had an 8 figure sum knocked back by Liverpool in January.
Celtic have no chance of signing this player unless DD sanctions the signing himself,
Which he has done before previously, with fellow Irishmen but not with this amount of money.
The one positive, is Kellecher is not on great wages at Liverpool but he will be wanting maga bucks in his next contract and that will be at least double our highest budget.

the fee Liverpool will be looking for would easily make him our most expensive signing ever.
I think there are plenty of very good GK options out there but we seriously need to get our sh it together.
I still think Liam Kelly at Motherwell could be useful as a No.2 or No.3 option if we can get rid of Bain ?

I'm not sure how many of you saw BuzzBombs post with the stats from our last 5 visits to Tynecastle, prior to yesterday's game?
Our record there was superb;- 5 games, 5 wins with 15 goals scored and 5 conceded.
We require major surgery as a club, the board aside, the scouting operation, signing policy, coaching and first team squad needs to be ripped up and started again.
Papering over the cracks will not be suffice, given several performances this season we clearly have players who no longer deserve the right to play in the Hoops - they are plenty of players out there who could do a far better job.

So much more needs to change at the club. much more than a personal change, more of a organisation change for us, the fans, see the true potential of the club.
Anyone coming in with the restrictions the club put in place, will have no chance of taking the team to the next level.

The fact is celtic are a bang average team. they should still have put up a better performance than the feeble effort they did.
As for BR full time comments on how proud he was, give me peace.
this squad have started doing there talking to the press, rather than on the pitch.
Weak phyically and mentally they are winning nothing this season.
