Griffiths is priceless to us in this day and age. He wants to play for us and gives 110%.40 goals a season is unheard of and he's picked up were he left off I'd say no to any bids for him at moment.

Another CB rumour a boy from Turkey called kaldirim who plays for ferbhache. Last year of contract looking around the 2m mark, celtic signing written all over it.

Remember that Larsson played with Sutton, Hartson and Viduka as partners and had Alan Thompson putting inch perfect crosses onto his head week in week out. He also had Petrov, Lambert and Lennon behind him. He is and forever will be a Celtic legend.
Griffiths plays in a team where we can only dream of that class of player in the team. He certainly isn't in Henrik's class as a person as well as a player but he is as important to Celtic now as Henrik was then, if not even more important. Without him last season we would have been lucky to finish second.

Sorry but I also remember larsson playing up front big Harrold and Johnson and still smashing em in.
You could argue that larsson played in a far better league back then to the 1 Griff plays in now.
I appreciate and like LG but nothing comes close to the king.

No one has said LG is as good as Larsson! LG is just as important to our team the now with his goals though. If he finishes his career with us whilst scoring goals for fun each year, he has to go down as a club great!
Will never be as iconic as Henrik though! HH.

Thought Forrest played well again last night. Good to see him trying to keep his spot while PR is injured. Also thought last night that Sinclair proved he has a lot more in the locker than speed. Made numerous intelligent runs across the defence opening them right up. Brilliant performance all round though. Hail Hail.

Gerrard would be a fantastic signing IMO. Been there and done it in the CL. Brilliant leader. Does his best in training and often stays back after it has finished to practice even at his age. Will calm the younger players and show them a proper professional way to do things. A bit like what Kolo is doing just now which is doing wonders for our back 4.

I thin Brown has been playing a lot better and has his confidence back and is pushing forward more than last season. So I think Broony and Bitton will be superb in front of the defence. Looked slow last year but under BR the whole team just looks quicker, stronger and fitter.
