Clearly there is a lot of justified frustration, emotions and lots of questions being asked. There is absolutely no doubt that there appears to be significant failings in our scouting, forward planning, negotiating and completion of deals and especially early on in a transfer window.

There will be time to vent in the appropriate manner after this weekend but first we need everyone pulling together for the tribute act coming to Celtic Park.

Every man, woman and child needs to get behind our team, the champions and back then fully in full voice and colour.

If there are any errors on Sunday let's support the Bhoys and not knock their confidence any further. These players have earned our support imo and I'll be willing them on more than ever.

Time to unite for the team on the park and push them towards 3 points.

Exactly COYBIG the players need our backing, without it they are the ones who are likely to make mistakes. They don’t need the added pressure of the fans frustrations. let's drive them on in Sunday’s game by singing our hearts out with CELTIC songs.

I've been unable to post or comment for some time due to personal issues but what I love about our page is that it encourages debate, opinion and even some rationality from the majority. Yes there's the odd belter who breaks that mould but Ed007 you facilitate things brilliantly.

I think there is an overreaction to our transfer dealings so far. I'll reserve judgement on anyone until the window closes and I'm still optimistic we will have the quality signings in place that BR wants.

Yes mcginn was a sore one but no one knows the true ins and outs regarding that other than celtic and hibs.

Time to rally and support the bhoys and get right behind them in every way. As Ed said previously the players we have should be good enough to qualify and should have that hunter and even fear not to lose their place to any potential new signing.

Keep up great work Ed.

COYBIG.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks mate and I hope everything in your life is good again.}

Absolutely delighted with the news that Rogic has signed on for 5 more years. A fantastic sign of commitment by the player and the club.

I think it's very difficult to put into context how important a signing this is from a morale boosting and financial perspective.

A proven player, who knows the club, clearly loves being part of the Celtic family and is an integral part with arguably a bigger role yet to play.

What price would we have faced attempting to source a replacement and one who could fit in to the team with absolutely no guarantee it would work (Mussonda springs to mind)

I believe this is BR sorting the existing squad quickly before adding another few gems to drive us on to more success.

Exciting times bhoys.

Ian not Rogic's greatest fan, however I am delighted that we have signed him up for five years . It shows to me that Celtic now seem to be able to stand up to all but the very rich clubs . Signing Rogic and Ajer augurs well for ability to keep good players at Celtic Pk . It's hard enough spotting and then persuading them to sign for us without us loosing them after only a couple of years . If we could aim to have a new signing for six yrs or so we could really build a squad.

2.) 17 May 2018 22:50:22
Over the moon Rogic has signed on. For me one of our best players. Very few can deliver the magic that he can.

3.) 17 May 2018 23:33:28
I support anyone who wears the hoops but some are just that little bit special and I believe Rogic with his vision and passing is one of those. Absolutely delighted he has been nailed down on a long contract. The future is looking very bright indeed.

I know this has been said a lot but having watched the highlights of the game again and in particular the reaction at the end of the game there can be no doubt as to what Scott Brown means to Celtic and to his team mates. What is also apparent is that our club clearly means the world to him.

The way he rallied his team mates, delivery the instructions given by BR and the way he celebrated and encouraged his team mates to celebrate at the end was superb.

Take in his reaction at Aberdeen and the way his team mates reacted speaks volumes and I worry we won't see another of his like for some time.

This guy deserves the legend status and should have a role at Celtic in some capacity as long as he wants.

I would think if Broony leaves it will be his decision. He does seem interested in the coaching side, maybe a tempting start in management? Years away if he keeps this form up.

2.) 13 Mar 2018 13:00:24
I watched the full replay yesterday as it's always good to get a less agitated view on proceedings. I watched in interest at some of the refereeing decisions made by Collum. Bizarre if you ask me. Jozo's was probably a red but certainly wasn't as bad as I first thought. If it was a straight arm would that useless we tool on the line still be jumping up and down like a wee kid shouting RED CARD! RED CARD!, probably. After that, Collum really did his best to penalise every tackle made by our players. Also, seeing Edouards goal again was a thing of beauty! Great game, one of the better ones in terms of competition. Just as good as it is to see us absolutely annihilating them, it's also good to watch a great battling performance with us winning against a much improved Sevco team. Makes it all the sweeter when the Orcs think their team is anywhere near us just to be reminded they're not!

{Ed007's Note - Did you notice the similarities between Edouard's goal and KT's against Aberdeen the other week? It was the same slide rule pass from Dembele to set both goals up. Beautiful!}

3.) 13 Mar 2018 13:10:57
Dembele's vision is sublime Ed, that's what makes him far more than just a striker. He reads the game like a boss. His hold up play is amazing to watch. He's a solid as a nuclear bunker and defenders hate playing against that type of player. I hate to say it but that Morelos guy is a great wee bullier as well, thankfully for us though he couldn't hit a Barn Door with a Tractor!

{Ed007's Note - Any time Morelos name is mentioned it's usually followed by 'offiside' though. I can't recall a striker getting caught offside so many times and he'll need to sort that if he's hoping to move on this summer.}

4.) 13 Mar 2018 13:29:32
Have done the very same Rab; as you say when you're watching live it's easy to get distracted and influenced with the occassion.
Collum had a quiet first half when he seemed reluctant to use a card although he and his officials did ignore bad tackles on Rogic and Forrest, but let the game flow especially when Broony was felled when he played that great ball through to Moussa for 2-2.
The sending off and reaction by the linesman and crowd, seemed to really unsettle him and he punished every singly Celtic challenge from then on, ignoring late tackles and niggles from the home team and giving them even more of an advantage than the extra man and a certainly more incentive.
However, the substitutions, reorganization and superior class told in the end and the celebrations by all involved showed how much it means to win against all odds, obstacles and establishment ploys.

5.) 13 Mar 2018 14:56:48
ED. That is morellos natural position. Offside.

{Ed007's Note - He's bloody good at it.}

6.) 13 Mar 2018 17:26:57
Evening Ed. Is there any truth about Louis Moult coming back to Scotland and celtic and huns are considering him.

{Ed007's Note - No.}

7.) 13 Mar 2018 21:04:42
Alex Ferguson said inzagi was born offside. Morellos even worse than that and doesn't have the class of inzagi to make up for it.

Well Ed, I bet you're glad that the window is now closed and everyone can now focus on the 2nd half of the season.

I have to say I'm pleased with the club's dealings this window and I trust the decision making more than I ever have.

I've never understood this obsession with spending money just for the sake of it and this "project" talk. Most young players could be classed as that and if clubs in England want to spend obscene money snapping up young potential then that's up to them.

Hendry and Morgan could be fantastic and for hardly spending a fortune on them I am sure they will learn and develop around better players and with better facilities.

As you've said before with regards to Ajer, they're young players and we all need to accept mistakes will happen during a game but as fans we have a responsibility to support and encourage them not to get on their backs.

HH and thanks for all your good work as usual ED.

{Ed007's Note - Oh I'm definitely glad the window's closed lol and thank you.}

Most fans are pleased when window closes . A late bid may unsettle a player at any club .
Take poor Rangers who had bought four or five stars and held on to nearly everyone, when out of the blue there came a bid for a young star of the future . The. Bid was so secret that it a couple of days before Rangers knew who it was for . Rangers are still trying to keep this multi million pound secret and don't want to name player but admit the bid maybe from China . Dave King dined in a back street Chinese Restuarant this week, whichb seemed to verify China as bidding Country.

Fantastic news and it's amazing the turnaround in positivity around our club.

The amount of panty wetting (to use one of eds phrases) was ott and playing into the hands of the media and so called expert pundits.

I'm really looking forward to the January window and feel convinced we will yet again lay a marker down.

No idea what is going on at the moment and how quickly the mood has turned since the opening day of the season.

What I would say Phil is if NL goes who comes in bearing in mind PL stated he did not consider anyone else prior to appointing NL.

There is no doubt something isn't right and the next few weeks are vital.

What I can't stand is how quickly things are turning and the silence and lack of activity from Celtic.

The momentum is being gifted to Sevco. That is unforgivable in my opinion and we always seem to dither and drag our feet instead of pushing on.

Kev, totally agree and whilst he does not have to actually tell us what is going on the silence would suggest he might be wanting away abd the club are in a no win situation.

The reality is he will go one day and maybe with the recent changes in management coupled with watching Andy Robertson progressing he is thinking that this is his time.

He will always be a Celt and I'd never begrudge him a move to progress his career but for me Arsenal is not the best move for him.

I'd also be shocked if we accepted less than £25m with a decent sell on clause negotiated.

There is no doubt we have a challenge ahead of he goes as that's every area in defence needing fixed and soon.

Well said welshyboy.

He's 19, a boy in many ways, and I can only imagine what is going on in his head being in the limelight.

We've all made mistakes and had doubts in life but I do agree that this could have been handled better by many involved in the negotiations.

When he signs. I will give him my support and patience to bed in because he will be an easy target for some in our support and elsewhere if he has a few dodgy games.

Tiny Tim,

You're correct and there is probably "blame" apportioned in a few ways. Celtic, Glasgow City Council, Police Scotland and some exuberant fans who wouldn't take a telling to stay off the road.

The club would have applied for the parade and the council would consider the route with the police considering road closure orders and resourcing for police, stewards and barriers etc.

What I don't understand is the short notice application and how anyone could expect that type of event, and the obvious numbers who would turn out, to be managed with no barriers or for Celtic not to have employed more stewards to assist.

I think the club messed up in this as they should have applied weeks ago and planned for this better with the authorities.

Reasonably if someone had been knocked down because they wouldn't stay off the road, imagine the uproar and blame given then!

If there was any doubt over the safety of the parade in the first place then police scotland should have objected and Glasgow City Council refused it saving all those fans turning up and being disappointed.

Definitely a balls up by someone.

The reality is that self policing by fans is probably the only way to fix this short of the club seizing full control of tickets for away fixtures and implementing some kind of system to regulate exactly who gets them.

In saying that there will still be fuds acting in a selfish reckless way sullying the clubs name with inappropriate songs/ add ons and the coin or flare throwing.

We have a real issue with some of our away support and it's time that this was addressed. The majority need to sort this minority who are tarnishing our club.

I've not posted in a while but this is an important issue.

Keep up the great work BTW.
