Anyone heard anything about Damien Duff joining the coaching staff. Seems he was over for a look around and talks last week.

Was he at Chelsea when Rodgers was coach there? Seems like a good fit, saying that I've no idea what his coaching credentials are.
{Ed007's Note - He was at Chelsea with Rodgers but I'd imagine their are better qualified applicants than Duff who's been coaching Shamrock Rovers under 15s since he stopped playing. Being Celtic under 20s coach would have been an ideal chance for someone like Steven Gerrard.}

Agree with that ed, the Under 20 job would of been a step up from the U15 job he had at Liverpool and the job he ended up taking.

Loved going to see eire og in the brazen back in the day but ma earliest memories of going to see rebel bands would be the blarney pilgrims in scruffy murphys in Coatbridge when a was well underage. A must've been 15 drinking pints of diesel then spewing it all back up. The blarneys are still one of my go to bands. ðŸ€.

Iceland 2 Firm-Fuds1 The dick of a commentator was so patronising and condescending about the Icelandic players and who they played for and how small their country is.
It's no wonder everyone wants England to lose every game. It's like a re-run every two years no matter who manages and plays for them - piss easy qualifiers, diddy group stage and premature exit in disgrace and disarray.
The referee was shockingly biased as well but that couldn't even help their case.
Hodgeson's luck finally ran out and although they have a few good players, there are far too many that think they are a lot better than they are and are brainwashed with the EPL hype and SLY propaganda.
