Chinese club makes bid for LG?

1.) 06 Jan 2017 10:47:39
LG won't leave. Definitely not for China, he's got too many kids to too many women haha

2.) 06 Jan 2017 11:29:32
Could be an ideal move for LG stephbhoy-China has a one child policy but I think it's per wummin 🍀

3.) 06 Jan 2017 12:32:26
Mibi they heard us calling him Wan-Lee Griffiths 🍀

4.) 06 Jan 2017 13:21:41
theres no way the wee man would give up all that monday book money steph lol.

5.) 06 Jan 2017 16:58:50
Rumour has it he would moved to China to be closer to the other half of his kids.

04 Dec 2016 07:36:18
One of the Sunday's reporting Real in for the Moose but would loan him back to continue his development!

I know both he and Rodgers have said he is going nowhere but if true that would be hard for the bhoy to turn down!

1.) 04 Dec 2016 16:39:20
We will soon break him down, between an unnamed Sunday newspaper and someone foolish enough to read it .
Every week he and Celtic say he is going no where . Every week the MSSM and some poster reckon he is.

2.) 04 Dec 2016 21:45:21
Old Bhot, such wit, bet you are a hoot at parties. Here's me thinking it was a rumour site! Let's hope Moussa doesn't rad my post in case I force him out of Parkhead.

Get a life!

3.) 04 Dec 2016 21:53:33
PS old bhoy I don't think he is leaving, just highlighting that for a YOUNG BHOY. who has Zidane as one of his heroes that an approach from Real would be difficult to turn down.

No more posts back to reading the Sunday papers.

4.) 04 Dec 2016 23:10:12
I think if you think he'd be interested in going to real, you don't undetstand why he came to Celtic.

5.) 04 Dec 2016 23:49:57
I think? Lol.

6.) 05 Dec 2016 19:09:11
Guys i have to agree i'm afraid. For me, and i stress the FOR ME. If your a pro football player its Barcelona or real where u want to be. Feck everywhere else. So with that. If Real wanted him, and then loaned back it definitely would be to hrd for him and us to refuse.

7.) 06 Dec 2016 17:19:20
I must admit, I feel sorry for those who think Dembele will be gone in January or summer, unless he thinks the fans don't want him .
Dembele had his choice of top clubs last summer, the fact that he chose Celtic and that it has worked out far better than he could ever have dream't means that he isn't going to risk moving and his career going balls up .
The original panty wetters can get their knickers in a twist but please don't create nonsense.

10 Sep 2016 01:35:55
Griffiths out of tomorrow and Tuesday!
Good luck Moussa!

1.) 10 Sep 2016 02:47:02
I don't know but as I've being drinking myself I hope you have being drinking yourself and your being pessimistic and poor griff won't make it. Dembele won't need luck against that lot, he has class (something they lack) and hopefully please god he now has a bit of confidence and he's settled because he has skill in abundance.

2.) 10 Sep 2016 02:51:26
Says who?

3.) 10 Sep 2016 05:45:42
Says who mate? . I've not red anything about it. unless! . your mystic meg!

Mon tha HOOPS the day!

Kani wait to shut these zombies up!

Aa some1 mentioned b4. its CHAMPS Vs TRAMPS!

4.) 11 Sep 2016 11:30:16
So quick to shoot down others and the bhoy was right.

5.) 11 Sep 2016 19:47:43
Thanks Dundee, I obviously hoped what I was told was wrong but it worked out ok. My info came from a health professional not directly linked celtic who found out by accident!

30 Aug 2016 14:08:07
Hernanes from Juventus?

28 Aug 2016 12:01:17
Reports saying Andre Wisdom! Marquee must be his Nick name!

1.) 28 Aug 2016 12:10:31
I'd be surprised if he's the only one.

2.) 28 Aug 2016 12:17:22
Surely not, I've not heard anythi good about this boy.

3.) 28 Aug 2016 13:51:01
if he's the marquee signing they'll be a riot, nae offence to the boy but he's no the calibre of player I was thinking more alone the lines of a yaya toure, nasri folk like that well out our price range but man city maybe pay most of there wages just to get them away nearer deadline day. just using man city as an example.

4.) 28 Aug 2016 14:04:49
After watching Janko the other night, i'd be happy with Norman Wisdom!

5.) 28 Aug 2016 14:15:57
Why would there be a riot? I don't think we've actually been promised a marquee signing. Sinclair, Toure and Dembele are all massive improvements on our recent signings. If we add another one or two signings of that level then it will have been a fantastic window.

6.) 28 Aug 2016 14:27:02
It's been mention everywhere that there's going to be one and if there was and it was wisdom would you be happy? could end up without one but I'm also happy with how things are going so far and another couple at that level would be me as well but the boy mentioned wisdom as the marquee signing.

7.) 28 Aug 2016 14:51:48
What is a marquee signing though? Someone we pay 50k a week? Someone who costs 8mil? Someone who is a huge name but getting on a bit? As long as they improve the team I couldn't care less if they are a 'marquee' signing or not.

8.) 28 Aug 2016 15:14:11
It's unbelievable that any of our supporters should doubt any of B R choices of signings .

9.) 28 Aug 2016 15:25:29
Don't get this 'marquee' thing. There is a wage structure within the club and gone are the days of spending £6m+ on a player - even though we have a large bank balance thanks to CL qualification.
Prices are very over-inflated - especially in England and the bottom line must be to simply find better players than we have at present, by replacing players who have left or are too old.
The club have managed to find very good players in the past in various parts of the world (like Nakamura, Moravcik, Larsson, VVD, Wanyama and Ledley etc, etc, etc) that entertain the fans bring success, can also earn the club money and don't cost a fortune.

10.) 28 Aug 2016 15:29:27
Who fae the club actually said there would be a marquee signing anyway?

11.) 28 Aug 2016 15:32:40
It's been mentioned everywhere?
By everywhere do you mean social media and the main stream media or fae the club?

12.) 28 Aug 2016 15:50:04
As for the potential signing of Wisdom, I think its pretty clear that one of our right backs is good defensively but doesn't have the legs to get forward any more, while the other has the legs to get forward but doesn't seem to have much else! Wisdom should provide a balance of both. People will look at his recent loans but look at Sinclair. Similar CV but he looks a cracking signing so far. Wisdom could be the same.

13.) 28 Aug 2016 15:57:34
The harsh reality is with money in for out going players we have spent about 1.5 million we are screaming out for an experienced midfielder that can set the tempo of a game and dominate and BR must see this? Bitton slows us down it would amaze me if we are not looking for someone in that department of our team.

14.) 28 Aug 2016 16:19:38
First time poster long time viewer of the page, just want to say that from what I've seen of Wisdom he's always looked the part to me, think he could turn out to be a good addition to the squad if he's brought in, far better player than Paterson from the Hearts.

15.) 28 Aug 2016 16:23:31
I am not bothered if he or they are well known or on a high wage or not as long as he they do the business for us to say the truth.

16.) 28 Aug 2016 16:31:58
People asking for an experienced midfielder who can set the pace of the game, it's simple we have him, rogic! Minus the experience but he's done well for us every game so far, still reckon a full back and a centre forward required imo.

17.) 28 Aug 2016 18:24:54
As far as I know the only person that mentioned a marquee signing was Skinnybhoy.

We don't need to spend £6-8 Million if we can get another player who can turn out to be a Lubo/ Henrik signing for £1-2 Million

And by that I mean not a lot of us had heard of Henrik and no one had heard of Lubo when they signed.

18.) 28 Aug 2016 18:37:25
Agree with everyone above this marquee pish is ridiculous.
Playing way too much champ manager 😀.

Think we need a cdm but all in all the signings so far are good and a vast improvement in the last 3 or 4 years imo.

19.) 28 Aug 2016 18:45:37
I think janko deserves a chance in the team. Yes he wasnt great against hbs but was any other player?
Hes a kid and forrest didn't exactly help him out in the defensive side.

Way to soon to launch another kid on the scrapheap based on that game imo.

20.) 28 Aug 2016 21:00:46
Agree with you there Tick67. He had one bad game but so did the rest of the team. I personally think the tactics were wrong for the game and we should have started with the 5. Easy to say in hindsight though.

As for wisdom, the boy has come through liverpools academy and a few Liverpool fans I know rate him highly. He is definitely better than anything in the SPL. He hasn't even signed for us yet and he's getting written of. How about letting him play for us first then judging him. Doesn't really matter if a players been shite elsewhere does it. He'll probably benefit playing in a team that dominate most games.

I still think there will be another signing or two so quit your crying.

21.) 28 Aug 2016 21:20:56
Sorry tick67 but I really don't agree with you about Janko.
I have been unconvinced by him every time I have seen him.
He looks like a rabbit in the headlights every time he steps on the field
There is no way the Bhoy is a defender in my eyes.

22.) 28 Aug 2016 22:34:41
Wisdom might not be cafu but he's definitely an upgrade on what we have, as for the marquee signing. I don't think anyone from the club came out and said there would be this type signing. Going mental on forums because we aren't spending loads of money on a marquee signing. wtf, get a grip, br will build the squad over a few transfer windows. Does spending big on a player guarantee he is going to win us trophies? Every year towards the end of the window we start this marquee nonsense. Give over. i'd be happy with wisdom and maybe 1 more. Reign it in bhoys. Trust in the management.

23.) 29 Aug 2016 03:44:47
But why buy from EPL how come we do not plunder Eastern and western and Central Europe for players spend £10 million on five or more players not young players 24 to 29 year olds that kick with both feet can pass and hold the ball and best of all battle-hardened £3 or 4.000 a week wages, and some of them you could sell on, there are plenty players out there that would jump at the chance and give 110% in every game.

That way we could could ditch the dead wood that is still there.

24.) 29 Aug 2016 07:28:56
Have to agree with you Beardybhoy on Wisdom

To many people on here right off players before they even sign or kick a ball.
Kolo and Sinclair were declared as duds or past it and personally I think they have both been a revelation. Dembele is also getting criticized but still needs to settle in.

I personally don't care how a players has performed at his previous club, if the board or managers thought that way we would never have signed the likes of Sutton or Hartson.

25.) 29 Aug 2016 12:29:08
Im not saying he's great kev all i'm saying is he deserves a chance.
Look at O'connell, forrest and rogic they have all turned the corner after looking dodgy but giving them a run of games has built there confidence and there looking good.

He could turn out pish mate but he could also turn out like Tierney.

Won't be gutted and although like most I would welcome a centre half, striker and goalkeeper I honesly don't think we will do any business.

1.) 30 Aug 2017 19:50:06
I won't be too disappointed if we don't make any more signings.
If we can get our squad up to full fitness we will continue to dominate domestically, some of the football we have played over the last year has been excellent and I'd happily settle for a repeat this season.
We haven't sold anyone, so with the signings we've made plus Patrick Roberts coming back, we are on paper even stronger, our main aim should be to get the injured players fit and hopefully keep them fit.

29 Aug 2017 19:03:13
I think I saw this name a few weeks ago but ed do you think Danny ings on loan is a possibility?

{Ed007's Note - No.}

1.) 29 Aug 2017 19:53:12
Think he was pretty gd for them last year n scored some important goals.

2.) 29 Aug 2017 20:34:07
Has Danny Ings even played in the last 2 years?

3.) 29 Aug 2017 21:21:50
My reply was meant for the thread below regarding Shane long.

21 Aug 2017 17:46:02
Just a bit of fun, but wouldn't it be great to get Iniesta on a 1 year contract!

1.) 21 Aug 2017 18:05:20
He'll be at parkhead one way or another. Celtic and Barcelona are a stick on to be paired together.

2.) 22 Aug 2017 13:53:05
Or a ST holder when he hangs the boots up 😄.

11 Aug 2017 23:14:41
Worried about Sinclair he seems to be half the player he was last year. We look comfortable and boss games but there is definitely a spark missing. Roberts? For me Rogic is already showing effects of playing right through the summer. Athen bright spots Griff, Sumo, megregor and of course KT!,

1.) 11 Aug 2017 23:48:35
Seen BR post match interview he was asked about PR and any update no nothing to report all speculation nothing there so will there be a twist in the tale and sign PR later fingers xd but bring in a striker before Wednesday?

2.) 12 Aug 2017 03:15:32
Sinclairs work rate, tracking back, defensive duties are all to class. When he's not scoring he's playing left back.

3.) 12 Aug 2017 07:18:57
Aye his work rates still first class he's just not as direct as last season Bitton is a worry for me playing at CH he looses sight of his man to easy and a decent striker will punish that. Think if we signed PR for the game on wed it would certainly lift the team/ club.

4.) 12 Aug 2017 07:36:03
Just play ajer at cb he's more natural than bitton.

5.) 12 Aug 2017 07:38:57
Maybe br should convert Sinclair to a left back and move calvin Miller back into the winger position then when Armstrong leaves in steps Tierney as attacking left midfielder . no money spent left side sorted . good idea kenlike eh?

6.) 12 Aug 2017 08:41:04
Kenlike naw.

7.) 12 Aug 2017 12:59:27
The PR saga has given this window a smoke screen, kept us all too busy. I'm keeping the powder dry till we make it through.
Far too much paper/ click bait stories. I'll say this though im thinking of putting Southampton on the list.
Cheap foster/ vvd/ vick deals (SA? )

Wouldn't want to guess what foster bids would be now to sell, vvd transfer deal blocked denying us a cut when he wants to move, vick sold for less as the above %cut would of went to us. Now true or not papers are publishing SA's 1 year left price as 3m? With our old "mates" happy to pay it obviously. I'd rather we didn't deal with from now on.

12 Jul 2017 14:05:56
I think I read that Ollie will be wearing no.21, does that mean that the number 7 shirt is free?

I hope that we are saving it for wee Pat!

{Ed007's Note - Ntcham will wear No.21 but there was never much chance of him wearing No.7, not many CM's do. Fingers crossed it's sitting waiting for Paddy.}

1.) 12 Jul 2017 14:42:38
Im thinking the same chaps,

2.) 12 Jul 2017 16:36:48

3.) 12 Jul 2017 16:46:20
Sadly unless Wee Pat has been keeping himself fit playing with Possilpark Juniors, I don't think he will make it lol.

4.) 12 Jul 2017 16:48:10
Nadir Ciftci is still with the club and is the current wearer of the No7 jersey, hopefully not at the end of the transfer window, Paddy would look great in it!

5.) 12 Jul 2017 16:48:16
I have never heard PR called wee pat before, there a wee pat ventures on here and my heart skipped a beat pmsl at that thought! :-O.

6.) 12 Jul 2017 17:22:58
Same guy Jamie bud, wee pat roberts fae possil lol.

7.) 12 Jul 2017 19:01:40
Ha ha Bhoywonder that wee pat is good at body swerving and cutting corners lol just ask Springburn "so-shill"

I do think we are well off the pace. It feels as though we are waiting for things to happen rather than making them happy. Our build up is very very slow and although we are comfortable in Scotland I think Europa will be a step to far unless we up our game, tempo, and on some cases, Dembele, Sinclair, desire.

Not going to be a popular choice but I remember being astounded when gasgoine was booked for returning the refs yellow card that he dropped, pretending to book the referee.
