I think he needs the benefit of the doubt at the moment . for what it's worth but the jury is certainly back out

If I was asked whether NL is right for the medium to long term, it would be an emphatic NO but that wasnt an option.

I voted for him to stay on because I do not want to upset the apple cart in such and important season.

However, I am starting to run out of patience due to his decisions to play people out of position when there are options there for him not to do so.

Maybe he is over compensating, perhaps trying to be " too clever "

A 1 off 90 minute match at hone against Ferencvaros should have been a case of . gloves off . quick start. high tempo . suffocate them . a half fit but mobile striker, if anything, would have occupied their back 3 . a back 3!

Ed, I noticed arsenal recently snaffled a SET PIECE COACH and it was considered news worthy. Arsenal were poor at defending set pieces and poor in terms of exploiting set piece opportunities at the other end too.

We are a full time, professional club!

We want to see week to week improvement.

If our measure of progress was to monitor set piece delivery and overarching impacts, we'd give the team a very very low mark.

Does that mean they don't think there is a problem or does the incompetency and malaise run deeper.

When NL rabbits on about possession and cornere and attempts at goal he must think that these baseline stats equate to a " get out of jail free card" or validation.

How gullable!

I know a manager that doesn't even look at possession and passes complete stats anymore, or for that matter area covered.

They are more interested in ( in advised)

Completed forward passes only amongst other more " game influencing" stats

Possession and yards covered and passes complete ade futile KPIs in a game that involves putting the ball in the net more often than the opposition.

I think we are very short of first team coaches etc. We usually have only 2 or 3 in the dug out . Last Wednesday night the Hungarians the 7 or 8;.
One’d our men in the dug out is Strachan and he spends the whole match taking notes as staticistan and so he cannot encourage the players.

I wasn't enamored by the NL appointment but at the same time I supported him because of the 9 and now 10, would have preferred someone else to be honest.
Now I am of the opinion we need someone else to come in and deliver the 10 someone more professional, I'm not sure he can do it this year things seem to be going tits up 👎.
