Why would we want shankland?
Have we learned nothing from the scott allan and lewis morgan disasters?

Buy a guy that is 25 on his next birthday, who has been bouncing about scottish football for 8 years and has done nothing above scottish championship level?

Is that going to win us leagues or get us to champions league?

Where as buying an unknown under 21 Polish guy will? Or some unknown from Israeli league, everyone deserves a chance. personally speaking im amazed anyone comes to Scotland as the standard of football is guff.

Shankland has a sort of similar career path to LG, think he was 25 when he arrived at Celtic, think there was a lot on here saying he wasn't good enough for the hoops, even though he had been banging in goals with previous clubs.

Aindoh how do you actually come up with this total nonsense.
Griffith started in league 1 which is now the championship
He went down to England and got experience with wolves
He then came up the road and scored 39 in 74 games 2 seasons with a team in scotlands top division
Shankland has done none of that.
Hes bounced about the lower levels of scottish football including the 3rd and 4th tier for 8 years.
Most people actually questioned if griffiths could behave rather than if he could score goals.

Cosgrove would be a better shout for me. 21 goals already this season. Over 20 goals last season. Scored 5 goals in 5 Europa League qualifiers. Big, Physical, quick, hrs working, needs to work on his touch but different option to the strikers we have.
